talking about the hardcore conversation in the middle of this video, i think making the game harder is just a terrible idea. both for player retention and personal enjoyment. Most modern deepwoken players like the game as it is now, and its pretty much objectively true an easier game leads to more players. But also, in my personal opinion, if the game was made more difficult it would also have to be made more fun. I wouldnt mind a harder game if progressing was actually fun. I DREAD starting a new build, because its just an hour of two or boredom followed by even more boring fetch quests of leveling mantras, getting master armor, getting murmur, getting bell. If all of this would be fun, it would be much easier to be made closer to an actual rouge like. The reason rougelikes are fun is because progression is enjoyable, you dont die and instantly get mad, you die and get excited to start again.
I agree that the main gameplay loop is very boring, and unfortunately they haven't really made the whole permadeath feature really fun at all. Just tedious and annoyingly upsetting.

Jesus said that for us to be saved we MUST be born again, so if you're still living the same way then you were not born again, but if you desire evil less and less and righteousness more and more then that is what's called Sanctification in Christ, it's God changing our hearts and it's a process(that is worked through the Holy Spirit).
Most importantly, you can NOT wait on this! Doing so would be like saying "I don't want to know you now, God, maybe later!", you have to make a choice now, either begin your journey to knowing God and accepting Him or deny Him and live in sin, condemning yourself to eternal separation from everything that is good(denying God is choosing separation from everything that is good, that is, God Himself. But God doesn’t want that for you, so He offers reconciliation and eternal life through Christ). "Why so serious?", well, you don't know when you will die, and that's the time limit, you have to repent before you go through the first death!
