He's totally in love with his children His eyes are almost sparkling when he talks about his 31-year-old son Duncan. not to mention when he's talking about little Alexandria. Such a sweet man.

Kills me what he said about his daughter. Only glad he was around as long as he was, having been so ill from 2004 onwards, at various points, but... he was so young. So young. And Alexandria is so young. But what a father to have, her life will be one of endless learning and wonder, because of him. What an awesome guy in this whole interview, so personable, insightful, always ahead of the joke, making little asides to himself, what a down to earth and head in the clouds all at the same time kind of guy... Absolutely love him. Nowhere near coming to terms with his going... Never will.

+Will Thorpe agree in all you say. he was the biggest, a legend, and still he was a kind, funny, down to earth man, with a big heart. He was the master, i don´t think that any one can live up to his repetation, ever. Loved him so much, this is the first time, i have cryed for days of a celebities death, it really has made a emty hole in the world.

Great comment, but Bowie wasn't sick during 2004-2013. After the heart attack he did quit touring though.

You're correct. Bowie wasn't sick until he got was diagnosed with cancer in Summer 2014 - aside from the 2004 heart attack.... Also, some people quote an inaccurate info by one of his *numerous* biographers (poor David) that Bowie had 5 or so more heart attacks, BUT it's untrue in that those additional heart attacks were in relation to him having the cancer.

You know you were a cool dude when I'm smiling and laughing watching one of your interviews on a day that brought news that should make us all weep. I'm not sad. You lived greatly, acting while still being genuine, doing what you wished and somehow still bringing everyone profound joy, and most importantly didn't regret a thing. Today is not about being upset you died, but glad you lived. That's not something that should make you cry enough to bother wiping away.
You are stardust, David. Ziggy. Welcome back to the stars, friend.
I'm going to wear a black dress tomorrow, but also hot pink and purple, and light burgundy tights (I didn't have the time this morning, finding out minutes before I had to go). What's a memorial without a celebration?

So great to see Bowie's dignified non-responses to some of Ross's cringey line if questioning on sexuality and pornography. Was interesting nonetheless to see Bowies troubled expression at the first mention of Jagger.

I love how David whips his head back slightly or plays with his hair.. You can tell he's a little annoyed that the front of his hair is cut a little too short, it's usually a little longer than that

Charming, kind, funny, eloquent, brilliant, gracious, humble, fun... We were so blessed to have David Bowie in our lives; he was always a giver and his gifts to us are eternal. This is a wonderful and delightful interview and footage is even more precious that he's gone in body (but never in spirit or our hearts)

I always loved the way David conducted himself during interviews and inevitably a host would ask inane questions. He was able to use humor to send the message move on. I have watched many of his interviews and have applied his technique with real life situations I have encountered.
I love this man David Bowie you are the best, RIP!

A really great interview, I can't quite believe it is 2002, it seems more recent than that. Not only a great rock star but a really funny guy ! It's amusing to see Jonathan Ross try and get him to answer questions about his sexuality, he turns the tables on him and runs rings around him. However Jonathan Ross is the perfect host he absorbs all of Bowie's quips and that what makes it a great interview. One of the best interviews of Bowie I've seen in fact.
