Thanks, Marcus. I've made a number of hyperlapse videos, but usually just used whatever setting that the camera chose. I got some motion blur at night because the camera required a slightly slower shutter speed. I'm going to have to experiment with my filters and manually setting the shutter speed. Thanks for giving me some new ideas! You're channel is top notch!
Hi Marcus......That was a fun experimental day. Glad it all worked out for ya. I read below about the 2 sec hyper not letting you reach a 1 sec shutter speed. Makes sense.......👍
That was a heck of a lot of fun, Marcus. I appreciate the way you talk through your experiences as it gives good guidance. Regarding the precision landing with the Air 3, I find that by taking off on the app I always have success at the landing. Upon take off, the drone rises about 4 feet and says “home point updated.” I proceed with the flight from there and get a spot-on landing. Cheers, buddy.
Hi Marcus you and Bill are always bringing great things out. Now I can see the motion blur. Because of the time differences I can't get Bill live broadcast sometimes I'm on+0 GMT. Anyway you guys are doing great . I'm following up your footprint gradually I'll soon get there when mini comes. Stay blessed and safe all the time Amen. My prayers Welbeck here from Accra Ghana.
An excellent video Marcus! I have tried hyperlapse with my M3P before, but the addition of creating blur adds a great effect! I must try this out on my next hyperlapse. Yours came out great!
Marcus I was driving today and it hit me. You can’t get 1 second shutter with a 2 second interval. Not enough time. You need at least 3 second interval. I tried it today and 3 second interval gave me 1 second Shutter.
This is a very interesting video And thé best at the end. Such a thing is not possible in the European Union. It would be classified as a spy video and an invasion of privacy and there is a fine for that. Unfortunately, we have to fly outside cities in open space. I have a Dji mini 2 SE. I'm going to make some video soon.
What in this video could not be done in the EU? I don't understand. Spying on people? Flying only far away from cities? I don't recognise this at all. Where in the EU are you flying?
@@olabergvall3154 yes, these are strict rules for European countries. We are not allowed to fly over people and houses because the camera in the drone can violate privacy. I am from the Czech Republic. These rules apply to all countries of the European Union. Anyone who wants to fly a drone must have a license and follow the rules.
@@romanholice6567 Well, no. I am myself in the EU flying under EASA and local rules by our national airspace authority. First of all, sub 250g drones don't require a licence to fly, only an operator ID. What licences are then needed for heavier drones depends on what airspace you intend to utilise, A1/A3 and A2 respectively. Second, it is not prohibited as such to fly in urban areas or even over people (even if the latter is to be avoided). Certainly no fine can be dished out just for this as it is not an actionable offence (again, EASA here, if you have local domestic laws saying otherwise, so be it). Third, privacy laws and use of camera equipment pertaining to such laws have nothing to do with drones per se. Those laws (if correctly described) are a product of your own country's local laws, this is in no way governed by EASA rules.
I appreciate the video. A little constructive criticism if I may. I personally would have enjoyed the video better if all of the snafoos were worked out before you started recording. It made the video unnecessarily longer than it had to be and gave honestly a bit of irrelevant information.
I may not be an Action Hero like you Dan, but I do my best and I'd say the results of my HyperLapse were quite good. I'm sorry to see that you are struggling to get views on your channel. If you ever want some tips, I'm happy to help.
Hyper-lapse came out pretty darn good Marcus
Thank you! It was fun to experiment with.
VERY COOL, Marcus!! You NAILED it!! Bravo!
Thank you! I had fun with this one. 🙂

Great testing of the new ND1000 filter from Freewell. You really got some nice motion blur on that busy intersection. Thanks for sharing Marcus.
Thank you very much Mr. Brown! I was happy with the results.
Great Work! I'll try this soon as well.
I creates a cool effect.
Marcus, I love that motion blur, it looked really good. Great video, as usual 👍
Thank you, Alan! That was a fun experiment!
Who has a ride-on mower for a postage stamp lawn like that!!??? The hyperlapse came out great!
Ha! Thank you, Caroline! I agree about the lawnmower. 🤣
Keep up the good work thanks really informative!!
It is absolutely my pleasure! Thank you!
👍🏽 Marcus great job for your first rodeo….. always look forward to your videos. Keep them going
Thank you! It's always fun to try something new.
So good! Billy definitely started a trend.
Ha! He did Eddie. I'm addicted to HyperLapse now. 😄

Yes, it takes too much time to write to memory. 👍
Great stuff!!! You've inspired me to get the ND1000 and ND2000 to try it out. Can't wait!
That's awesome!! Have fun with it! 👍

Thank you, George. The Air 3 is the best precision landing drone that I've seen.
Just brought mine based on your presentation. I always enjoy expanding my skills.
That's great to hear! Enjoy that new drone!
Great work Marcus with all the air 3 videos. Great drone .. hope your keeping well.
Thank you for watching Michael! Take care.
Good video this going to try it with mine, and what a lovely neighbourhood you have..
Thank you! I agree, hyperlapse is great fun. 👍
Excellent presentation
Thank you! I appreciate it.
Turned out very nice if you ask me. great stuff.
Thank you! Cheers!
That was really cool with the motion blur. I've tried it at night but I'll have to give it a try during the day with the mini 3 pro
I need to try it at night too. I'll bet it looked awesome.
@@IdahoQuadcopter yeah it's pretty

All right, my friend another great video let’s get that bird in the air video look great on my new iPhone 14 promax
Congratulations on that new iPhone!!
Maybe try the ND2000 filter next time and see the results.
It's fun to experiment. 👍
Nice Marcus, for a first time motion blur hyperlapse you did an awesome job.

I'm glad you enjoyed it thank you!

Nicely done. I'm doing one this morning with the Mavic 3 Pro, since I have a 1000/512 Split ND from Freewell for it. Wish me luck!
Very cool John! Have fun with it!
Yes do it again in full screen 👍
I need to try that.
@@IdahoQuadcopter it really did look great
👍👍✌️That worked out well
Thank you! I think so too!
Great hyperlapse! I think by changing the interval to longer than 2s allows you to get a longer exposure up to 1". :)
That makes sense. Thank you for the tip. 👍
Great video Marcus. Did you find out why you couldn't get to the 1 second shutter?
Thank you, Brian. I think Billy was using the Mavic 3 Cine that allowed for the one second shutter speed. Evidently the Air 3 will not go that long.
@@IdahoQuadcopter It's weird. I can get much slower shutter speed on my Air 2S. Is it because it's a hyperlapse?
Marcus I was driving today and it hit me. You can’t get 1 second shutter with a 2 second interval. Not enough time. You need at least 3 second interval. I tried it today and 3 second interval gave me 1 second Shutter.
@@BrianKushner I was thinking the same thing, not enough time to write to the card.
Hi Marcus, very interesting, thanks for sharing. I noticed that OA was off for most of your flight. Was that intended?
Thank you, Richard. I turned off OA when I brought the drone into the camera and forgot to turn it back on.
@@IdahoQuadcopter Hi Marcus. BTW, my Air 2s, Mavic 3, Air 3, and X8 SE 2022 V2 always 100% precision land right on the H of my ROUND landing pad. vbg
