I’ll say one thing about wilder , I’ve never seen a fighter so content to be sitting behind on The scorecards knowing he will get you eventually
Eventually that strategy will backfire. Just “needs to be perfect for 2 seconds” and draws vs Fury.
As long as biased judges will gift him a draw for a fight he should have lost he should be fine.
Just wait for the fury rematch. Or until he faces ruiz. He wont look as good then.
But yes he would probably destroy aj.
pimpin magician of prophecy If Joshua could put Ruiz in his ass even once then Wilder would destroy him
aaron pryor yeah ok so fury got ko’d that’s why he got up fine and gave Wilder a boxing lesson enough to turn a 10-8 round into 10-9. That wouldn’t happen if he was destroyed. Wilder has an inflated resume. First 28 fights opponents ranked 300-400+. Defenses again Molina (school teacher), Szpilka (moving down to cruiserweight), Stiverne (already beat), Washington (ex-football player). You’re the casual actually. Wilder’s resume does not compare to Foreman. It compares to Peter McKneely and Dicky Ryan. Stop turning Wilder into a myth. He took the easiest fights ever one opponent almost rank 500. But omg “he has 40 ko’s” must be good.
you are obviously the casual fury is a much better boxer than wilder
That’s strange from someone like Teddy who has been so critical of him his style is unorthodox but it works for him glad his getting some credit
Because one doesn't have anything to do with the other. He's talking specifically about being a puncher, not being highly skilled.
Wilder doesn't care about points. He's setting up The Shot.
alcholic!
Got to love Teddy Atlas he tells it like it is no sugar coating with him

Up there with Awanj..aka Orange, NJ
sledge hammer at the speed of a baseball flying down the plate hidden behind a jab straight to your grill is wilders right hand punch
I’ve seen Wilder knock out a guy with his LEFT, that was crazy
I've been telling people this!!! But when Teddy says it, now it makes sense.
Because you’re a nobody. Teddy is a boxing legend
teddy makes me more confident wilder can win the rematch.
Tyson fury almost got KOed by wallin in the last round.
thiago giovanni dos santos people act like wallin is a pussy though. its heavyweight boxing.
@@thiago140893 Wilder almost got knocked by a 39 years old Ortiz last year.
Joshua got destroyed and gave up against a fat little fellow.
It happens in heavyweight boxing.
Didn’t Wilder have a broken hand and still was able to knockdown Fury? Wilder will SLEEP Fury in the rematch. BombSquad! 💣 💥
No professional boxer is a pussy. Some are just better fighters.
Wow when I first listen to his answer. I listened deeply because I respect teddy's word. When he ended it like that with that answer. I smiled because he confirmed my own feeling from my own vision. Wilder of the greatest power puncher I've ever seen. In any video you can show me. Someone should measure his power level in the name of science.
Sports science. I wonder if it still come on.
@Box Jabber I think Wilder knocked you out and you just don't remember it. Your talking crazy

I was waiting 4 teddy to point out all the tomato cans Rocky Marciano fought. He probably fought the most tomatoes than any fighter I know that get a lot of Recognition
I agree but people tend to forget
He beat Joe Louis, Joe Walcott twice, Ezzard Charles, twice, Archie Moore. Roland Lastarza, twice. Some tomato cans! He fought and beat the very best heavyweights of his era. That’s all you can ask of any fighter. Sure, on his way to the top he fought some nobodies. They all do. But after he won the title from Walcott with a monster KO, he defended it six times. Never ducked a real contender like Floyd Patterson ducked Sonny Liston for years. Patterson wouldn’t haven stood a chance against Marciano. Give Rocky his due. He was as tough as they come and as strong a puncher as any of them. He was always in phenomenal physical condition. He never quit.
Steven Yourke who joe Louis lol u just lost all credibility. Joe was literally a dead man walking by the time Rocky fought him. He was old & washed by the time. He was the equivalent of a 60 year old fighter today lol
AkHi TV Louis was definitely over the hill when he fought Marciano but was that Rocky’s fault?! You’re dumping on Marciano is unfair - he fought the best fighters of his era and never ducked a contender. And what about the other fighters I mentioned - they were all great fighters and all in their prime. You’re just ignorant about Marciano.
Lamont Wilson Why bring race into it? You’re the only racist here, Black boy! So what if heavyweights were smaller in those days. You’re a moron. And an ignorant racist. Go screw yourself.
This just pissed s lot of people off 😂
Lamont Wilson I agree lol. But he was a great trainer so it’s strange.
@Lamont Wilson man his prediction game has been terrible this year 😂.
Teddy "The Encyclopedia" Atlas. Name dropping some heavy handed fighterss right here
I’ve been saying this about Wilder for a while now. I know people like to call bullshit on that, but how many fighters in the sport’s history are putting guys the size that Wilder is dropping with one punch on the regular? Not too many. He might have some holes in his game, but just single shot power, he owns that shit.
Glad to hear a mention of Lew Jenkins, the guy was a beast, yet was literally drunk for many of his fights
what about julian jackson teddy???
Benjamin what about your mom?
He said heavyweight
If you skip the legend power crap, and just look at all the hardest punchers. You can clearly see that Wilder is something special. He does not use combos or hooks just pure straight right power like nobody else in history.
Who has he actully knocked out.
@@nilaphillips3500 Thats where you are wrong. You dont have a stronger chin even if you are a big name in boxing. No matter how you cut it there is no heavyweight that can match Wilders KO%
he cant have much power tho if u really think about it. Who has in he Ko (Top ten) and stayed down. Ortiz. Iam a fan of Wilder. Aj and fury b4 any1 says iam a fury/ Aj rider.
@@drgdfhfdhfd498 EXACTLY !!! u cant use the excuse of "well who have they fought," when it comes to a power puncher because like i said before power is power
@@nilaphillips3500 ur not getting it. the point is it doesnt matter. if Wilder gets that clean shot in even Evander Holyfield will fold. the trick is to not let him hit u clean for 12 rounds straight and THATS where the argument of "who has he fought?" comes into play
Teddy would have made a great comedian! He is just naturally a funny guy.
What you mean by funny? Is he a clown? Does he amuse you?
If there has every been a Thor's Hammer in the history of the heavyweight, Deontay Wilder possess it. You want to take shots at the guy for not being the total package, go right ahead. Wilder took up boxing late. Took up boxing to support his young family. How can you not respect the man for doing what it takes? This man owes nobody an apology for why he is where he is. Next step. Unification.
This is also a Sly way for Teddy to get it Mike Tyson Mike and Teddy have history
Till this day ...!!
Love the respect you paid to Big George! I think what he has done recapturing the title against your boy was nothing less than the most incredible feat in all of boxing. To be in your 40s and become the heavyweight champion of the world. Anyway, shows GREAT character on your part Mr Atlas!
No matter how you feel about Deontay Wilder, In his 10yr career Wilder you never ducked nobody💪🏽💯
He ducked Klitschko, his management came out and said he was not ready after he won the WBC belt.
@@kriszhao80 Wilder never ducked Klitschko he was not ready at the time and once he was Wilder called Klitschko out but Klitschko chose to fight Anthony Joshua instead.
@@monroethegreat7539 lol he wasn't ready SMH he was a world champion and he wasn't ready?... Wilder turned down the fight that is a duck. Forget to mention EDWIN VALERO
Edwin Valero had KO power in both hands too!
@moz_boxing Golovkin isn't really a Puncher like Valero was or a Naseem Hamed. The thing about Valero he was an insanely good boxer use to be Erik Morales sparring partner & Erik had to take him outta camp cause he would injure him

Julian Miller definitely a dope list. Especially the first 5.
William Sullivan both great heavyweights imo i was just a bit more impressed with Dempsey after watching his footage considering he wasn’t the biggest heavyweight in his era.
Liston Vs Dempsey is a great match up though!
Thanks for your comment
Damn Teddy, now you give our champ credit..... 👏
Was wondering about Julian "the Hawk" Jackson? A lethal middleweight who out of 56 wins 49 where knockouts. Looking at some fight footage he hit like a sledgehammer. IMO he should be up there somewhere in the list.

You two never leern boxing are you two champion in boxing
Teddy is a living legend
No one beats Tyson he could KO man and box. He could was exciting to watch. Buster Douglas would have KO'd Wilder.
You see that Lennox Lewis WOULDN'T give him a rematch. He said that the threw all he had at Tyson and he kept coming. Tyson threw that fight because he owed 30 mil to the IRS and he made 40 mil for that fight.
the most overrated.
@@vicdamone998 lewis perused the tyson rematch, he liked the pay check.. tyson ducked it and i don't blame tyson he knew ''i could never beat this guy'' tysons own words after the fight.
George Foreman and it ain't even close.
Tyson got knocked out in his prime what the fuck you talking about
teddy finally opens his eyes
I have to agree with Teddy on this one. I've never seen a guy with this kind of power. His right hand is packed with dynamite, it's just nuts. I get the Tyson argument but I don't think he even had this kind of power. Tyson was a tremendous boxer in his early years and had incredible power in both hands. But Wilder's right hand delivers the absolute single most devastating punch I've ever seen.
Gotta love teddy the metaphor atlas
Frank Bruno should get a mention too,he knocked out 38 out of his 40 wins.
I was going to say Frank. He could hammer. Trouble was that he wasn't very mobile, and he didn't go down when someone caught him.
@@philbertb Very true mate, needed to go down on one knee and try to get his head together but trouble is when caught with a big shot his head was scrambled and he,d just stand there taking so many more huge punches, mind you saying that it took a hell of alot of huge shots before the big fella finally crumpled, was so pleased for him when he finally got that world title belt.
Teddy cracks me up 😂🤣 he comes out with some crazy ass shit sometimes!!! and what he says about Mike Tyson is comedy “Gold 🥇” 😂🤣😂
Respect to tbe O.G. for keeping it real like that.
Hey Teddy, How many top fighters did Wilder knock out?
Top level fighters don’t have better chins they just have better offense and defense. Atlas didn’t say Wilder was the best fighter, only the hardest one punch knockout punch. Wilder’s right hand has speed, length, and power but his lack of boxing makes it harder for him to land it. It’s been proven you can’t knock everybody out so any top guy going the distance against Wilder has a good chance to win.
Jim Assalone i dont think its been proven that people can be knockout proof.
sean peterson ortiz. fury. even spilka had a good record before fighting wilder. breazeale.
Scrubs dont get title shots, so he fought at least 11 top dudes.
@@KelzKelz deluded
WOW THAT'S CRAZY, AND AMAZING THAT'S TEDDY'S SAYING!! IT'S ABOUT TIME, COMING FROM THE BIGGEST CRITIC TO WILDER!!!
Teddy agrees with Gil Clancy that punchers are born, not made. But Clancy added that taking a great punch is a better gift than throwing a great punch.
I went to the bathroom and this came on. I thought it was Ray romano talking.
How many top fighters did Mike Tyson knock out?
vitola1111 none
Agree
Exactly bro
You guys were probably the same dudes sniffing Tyson's ass when he was champ. Power is power. History has shown many champion fighters who were like glass cannons...trolls. Even if Tyson had a few more champions he put to sleep, you would find something else😂😂😂 If you do research, he kod a handful of undefeated fighters, and went the distance with others. He had many flaws, but c'mon man, you guys just exist to troll. How many champions have you all knocked out??🤔🤔😂😂😂
Holmes, Spinks and Bruno
I respect Teddy big time but I disagree. I have to go with Iron Mike Tyson. Speed is power and Tyson had both in 2 hands. He was at one time the most ferocious boxer in the history of the sport. Wilder is on track to prove otherwise but he will need bigger names on his hit list before he gets that title. At this rate I think he will do it.
Tyson would run through wilder like a hot knife through butter.
oldeenglish64 ofc but were talking about power here, not fantasy matchups
That's all fine and dandy but you're adding extra shit to the topic and question stick to the script and don't stray away from it one punch power goes to Wilder if you compare the 2 would Mike kick his ass prime for prime most likely he would but as far as one punch power Wilder got the edge Tyson was more of a combination punch ko artist
It's about power of course Mike destroys him he's the better boxer. But if we're talking power particularly one punch power Wilder has him beat, even when not fully extended and not putting his body into it he puts people to sleep.
Did you train Tyson? Did you work with cus d Amato ? I think he knows a lot more than you do!
I glad to here this that WILDER IS BEST we need to enjoy his fights in our life time. And give respect.
You cant never go wrong with Teddy A. Though we may agree or disagree with him, I always like to hear him give his opinions.

As far as Heavyweight I saw, the biggest punchers are
Mike Tyson(very explosive)
David Tua(explosive and powerful)
Lennox Lewis(heaviest right hand)
George Foreman(heavy hands)
Ike Ibeabuchi
Riddick Bowe
Also I heard a lot about Earnie Shavers and Rocky Marciano..
Wilder should be with them though..
Strong list, Ian
1) Wilder
2) Foreman
3) Earnie Shavers (hits harder than wilder, but he lost a bunch of times and got KO, wilder still yet to be defeated)
4) Gerald Mclellan (P4P the hardest puncher, every win except one or two were by devastating KO, and one of the most prolific body punchers, nobody could stand his body shots, on top of that he demolished the two men who were regarded as the most devastating punchers of that era: Nigel Ben and Julian Jackson. He only lost his last fight against Nigel Ben due to brain injury, I dont count that as a loss, man was a WARRIOR)
5) Tyson
Everybody fought tomato cans moving up, as long as you beating everybody put in front of you, that counts to something. Wilder can definitely KO Joshua, Whyte, Fury, Chisora. Only two guys who could possibly give Wilder trouble are Oleksander Usyk and Andy Ruiz. Usyk has the best boxing IQ out of all these guys and his footwork is unbelievable. If Wilder gets to fight all these guys and go through them, then no questions asked, he's the greatest HW.
LiveLife 101 ✅
Why would he all of the sudden start fighting all the best fighters? He has spent his whole career avoiding the tough fights. There's a reason why he has held only 1 belt for 7 years. There are 4 other belts he could have gone after. He only fought Tyson bc Fury has no power. Decent boxer but absolutely no chance of Wilder getting hurt. No doubt he's got a great right but that is literally it. He is overrated and he will get Got.
As a Wilder fan I definitely want to see those names on his resume. I'd add Kownacki, Parker, and Joyce as well. Clean out the division
What make you say Shavers hits harder than wilder.
Shavers hit hard but nobody ever hit as hard as wilder .

For the Stevenson fight that went the distance is he referring to Michael Does. When they met in the Pan Am Games? That fight went the distance. Does fought him in close after he was knocked down 2x in the 1st round. He fought the rest of the fight on even terms.
Glad to hear ol Maxie Baer still being mentioned as one of the hardest hitter, a cannon of a right hand and basically the wilder of his day even tho Maxie could fight backing up
Wilder
Shavers

@@bobsnbits2516 In fairness to Tyson, when he was Undisputed, he cleaned out everyone who was there. Perry Saker Nope. Fury is the only one but the rest are trash
Rufus Collins the fight wilder really don’t want to have is with the Mexican Champion right now. The guy has the perfect style to finish Wilder. Hand speed and movement is a lot to handle
Wilder has ko every man put in front of him except the ones that ran and FURY because of the ref giving him a very long count. Pussy ass Josua won't get in the ring with him. And Dylan white talks but won't walk the walk. look he kos what is put in his face what else can he do
Name me a HOF fighter Mike Tyson beat that wasn't over 30. The two HOF fighters he fought he lost to both of them. The heavyweight division of the '80s and now had the same caliber of fighters. Put it this way who was Tyson's 40th fight against and compare it to Wilder's 40th fight. Stop comparing the eras and enjoy them why we can. If Larry Holmes arm would have never got blocked by the ropes Tyson would have been KO'ed. Then again "if ifs was a fifth then we all would be drunk". The hardest era for heavyweights was the golden era. The main reason we know about them because there was no PPV and no networks to get in the way. That's why we don't know a lot about these heavyweights now is because of the exposer they are not getting.
Teddy Atlas for President!!!!
Teddy what do you think about James Wilson?
