the show really tried to hype up the baki vs alai jr fight by having characters like igari, doppo and shibukawa claim that jr is gonna win, as if he has more than a fair shot at winning. the opening also implies that they're relatively equal since they're exchanging blows, only for the actual fight to end up as a pure one-sided beatdown 🤣

I hated it lol especially since Jr. was a cool character. If he had the right mentality from the start he could’ve lasted longer against Baki but he definitely wasn’t winning
