Thank's for letting us sit in on your therapy session ... The fact that you panic at the thought of losing a relationship just tells you how important it is.

GAD is so rough to deal with. I feel like I finally grasped some decent coping mechanism in the past 2 years or so. I try to expose myself to music with more positive upbeat messages because I really feel like music can influence my moods. I practice mindfulness, and listen to meditation music a couple times a week. But it's a constant struggle. Sending good vibes your way! Both of you are amazing.

You two continue to amaze me with your honesty and bravery. 👍👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼. Hannah, your opening statement is perfect. 👍. Yes, for some reason, and one that is hard to shake, the belief that having honest and sometimes hard conversations means there is trouble in a relationship. I'm so glad you and your therapist are telling us that it is the opposite. What a valuable statement. Thank you! 🙏🏼

Your relationship story was wild and you had to pretty fast learn to live together being each other's first same-sex partner. This definitely needs its time, and before you know it you're in the middle of a pandemic. Altogether a lot to handle.
The fact though that you're willing to make these difficult conversations and are make concious efforts to find the necessary compromises, is helping you build up a relationship that is working best for you.
    Shell is just so adorable.

Without a few disagreements, a few speed bumps, true love will not grow, cannot flourish. Always talk with each other, not to each other. Listen, do not just hear. Say I love you all the time, when you think it is too much, say it again. Much love and happiness for you both :)

thank you for sharing your story in such a genuine way. i, myself, recently ended a very long, important relationship with a boy because i am questioning my sexuality and it is very important to know that things can be difficult even after figuring things out. romanticizing things can be very detrimental to people who are going through this journey of self discovery. for me, knowing that it is okay to feel insecure sometimes and that not everything can be figured out immediatly is really reassuring. thank you!

I’ve watched you two for over a year and I am so incredibly grateful for that. Aside from the fact you are both attractive young women, you are beautiful people....beautiful in substance, thought, emotion, values, goals for yourselves and the relationship. Keeping those parts of you healthy is an enormous responsibility yet imperative to your wellbeing individually and as a couple. Continue to work on yourselves while being respectful of the others perspective. I really appreciate you two and the fact you have chosen to share. Be well.

S&H, In a forever romantic connection on the deepest level so many aspects of one another and the relationship bring a definitive realization of permanency. There is a shift from a degree of uncertainty and the concerns you eloquently and humbly express in this video, to nothing will rock this regardless of imperfections, health, and other concerns. When this hasn’t happened, it doesn’t foreshadow a break up. It just means one or both people have not settled completely, yet. The intangibles that simply have no words are what put it way over the top beyond equivocation.

Loved it ladies!! This was such an interesting and great video..It has been so amazing watching you two grow on here.. Like you said, no relationship is perfect.. You got to have disagreements sometimes..That is how you make your relationship better!! Many of us have struggled through everything, no matter if we talk about it or not.. To me it is better to talk it out.. But also, if it okay when we need space too.. Like, find a quiet room and meditate.. You two are so funny and adorable together!! Keep being you.. Shell is so precious.. Much love to you all.. Stay sweet and keep on rockin!!

Thanks ladies I admire you both this brought back a lot of memories for me, I have been with my partner for 30yrs and now she is my wife and have been married for 9yr I am 13 years older and she was only 18 and I was 31 when we met. It was hard for me I was always thinking she’s young she’s beautiful her family never spoke to her for 11yrs and I always had the fear she was going to leave me but I was so wrong we were strong we done everything together, if there was something bothering us we dealt with it so no one needed to walk on egg shells, let me say there is no relationship perfect you have to work at it, you ladies went through hell and high water to be together that’s says a lot about the love you have for each other and just remember you always have to have Sadie and Hannah time
everyday mealtimes are very important so please talk to each other when something is bothering you both, take care of each other much love and hugs to you both Roberta from Scotland 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁳󠁣󠁴󠁿 ❤️❤️

I think if you want a relationship to work it is hard demanding but there is a lot of payback for any couple, but you very transparent and open and honest but that’s what I love about the both of you. Well it seems you’re both worried about the same thing and the blame or guilty feelings you have maybe let them go and just enjoy each other and don’t beat each other up. Life is short live in the day and situation and what I here is you don’t want the lose the relationship. Don’t have secrets with each other and don’t be so hard on yourselves but also what your both saying sounds like you’re in a loving respectful relationship please enjoy and I enjoyed watching this video and thank you.

Love your channel! Another silver lining to covid!
We constantly grow and change as individuals and my god have we all changed over the last 12 months! I have been with my girlfriend for nearly 9 years and the pandemic was a challenge, for me it was more due to the mental challenges brought on from working from home and the lack of separation between work and home. Understanding what was triggering my anxiety was the break through. I suck at communicating so that is always fun 😂
Thankfully Australia has returned back to normal a lot faster than other countries not sure I could have handled 12 months, 6 was enough for me.

I think society and the media teaches us to expect our love lives to be like a fairy tale - it's okay for there to be one big fight in the first couple of months, but after that, we should be in total harmony and agreement with our partners on every little thing, and that sets us up to think our relationship is a disaster because that expectation is just not realistic.

I agree completely. I only recently started dating my gf about 3 and a half months ago, she has a 3 year old son so it takes some adjusting even in str8 relationships. yes we have disagreements but we always work it out. she lost her grandparents recently and as her partner I am there to support and comfort her. no relationship is perfect, u will have disagreements and arguments but u work it out

I just started binge watching your channel and I love your videos! I’ve just realized that I’m a lesbian and I’m having a hard time coming to grips with it. I live and have been brought up in the deep south where everyone believes a same-sex relationship is sin so I’ve been struggling with a ton of guilt. I’m really scared that if I date a woman it won’t feel like a “real” relationship and will just feel like a close friendship. How have you guys been able to move from a close platonic relationship to dating? Is it easier to accept the longer you date?

I have same problems that you guys have. We don't live together yet. Because of our differences. I want to be with her forever, but we fight alot. We love each other like crazy. She also does not know how to deal with my depression attacks and she gets upset. She ends up threatening our relationship if I don't stop. It hurts alot when she's like that and it takes all day for me to recover. I have a therapist too and she suggests to break up basically. I am So confused. So I feel for you guys.

    • @louwinters508
      @louwinters508 2 роки тому

What happened with that. To me that sounds incredibly cruel of her. You can't help having depression attacks. To use that against you is wrong. She can't be the support you need.
      Your therapist is right.
