HOT WHEELS SQUIRREL: in case you weren't aware, each Cube cardboard insert came with a sticker sheet inside the fold for the Sizzler car, they were all the same, but it was a nice bonus surprise they did back in the day ;-)
I still have my Matchbox Ferrari, Turquoise/ black over chrome(?), & a Herbie-like Bug. Most of my toys from 3 - 13. My dad got me Thing Makers from age 4, said I burn my fingers once, I I'll not do it again! When I was robbed while moving, ALL my Hot Wheels, Matchbox cars, about 400, including Sizzlers, were stolen. My insurance co. BALKED at the values of the postcards from the 1800s to now, stereo system that I'd turned in, etc. Asked where was my Rider? I'd shown everything to my Insurance Agent, 12 years ago, how was I supposed to know My toys would become the heart of my collections? Yes, ripped off for who knows how much, was told 5+ figures, because of the Redlines, Baseball Cards . Then told I need an appraiser, on rest of collection. Just don't get why an average from online sales, isn't good enough. I'm a Freelance Appraiser for Estates now, still not good enough for them 😮
The sizzlers were not in the mainline, they were in a separate group from the mainline models. They used the standard redline front axles but had unique rear tires that fit on the motors with rubber gripps on them.
I had the Ferrari can am and the fat track oval when I was a kid. If anyone would know, you might---how much did the track set cost originally? I am just curious. Enjoyed the vid.
You might have had the "Big O Layout " that was around $10 to $15 at the time. The cars were $2.50 to $3.50 range individually depending on the store it was purchased from.
Super cool hot wheels top😊

I never noticed the Sizzlers had red line wheels. Were the concept cars ever released in mainline?
