Been enjoying your Turrican covers as a guilty pleasure, now I found this and this is also a guilty pleasure song for me. Thank you so much! You are amazing.
Here's my remix of the remix of a remix... :) Well this was such an iconic tune of the 90's I'm surprised it hasn't been covered more. I heard this tune the first time in 1989 on a school trip I Germany. The wall had just fell and was being torn down. There was a great sense of future and freedom in the air. The kid in family I was staying at just had been given an Atari ST and had been given Xenon 2. We just couldn't believe the sound that was coming out of the machine. We plugged the computer into the hifi and recorded this on tape. I spend the next 10 days in Berlin with this tune blaring out in my walkman headphones non stop :)
thanks. yeah it's such an iconic piece of that era. I actually first heard it on a school trip in Germany on an Atari ST when I was a kid. Made me want to upgrade my old MSX computer so went into a shop and.. ... .. got an AMIGA :D
1:41 The best scratch sound I´ve ever heard. I had this game in the Amiga, connected to the stereo Hi-Fi. I used to load certain games just to listen to their music. We owe a lot to the computer musicians who made their magic to compose these awesome soundtracks. Now everything is as simple as recording your instruments into a mp3 (or whatever) file
Ahh Ahh Ah yeah! Do love when I randomly search for some old Amiga era music I vaguely remember being cool and there's almost always a cover by you to go with it.
Played this on the Atari ST growing up and I LOVED this song SO MUCH, even if I was terrible at the game. You totally nailed it. Sending to my dad to see if he remembers it :)
Banjo tu nous as fait là encore une superbe reprise sur une musique mythique d'un jeu de légende !! Merci à toi ... une fois de plus ;) ... Well done Dude :D
I swear i already hear this song somewhere however i never played the game. So i searched on UA-cam only to find the most 80's song ever. I still don't know from where i know this music but my god, it's so cool. Thanks for the subconscious reminiscence.
Your percussion ensemble work is just beyond reproach. I played the shit out of this on a monochrome monitor on the first computer I personally owned. You've done this track immense justice!

omg. thanks so much for this dude. That's an incredibly generous donation . thanks a lot !

Cool man, you rock! Well done! Mega track, I had the game for my Amiga500 (this computer had a soul!) and the Bomb the Bass LP over 30 years ago.

This is brilliant! I hope Mr Bomb The Bass himself, Tim Simenon, finds his way here in the future to appreciate it!
Why can't I upvote this several times?

I don't know how I never realized until this video that a banjo literally is a drum with strings.
