Sick Fux is VERY DARK but brilliant. It is definitely not for everyone. The best way I can describe this book is like "finding beauty within the darkness of a brutally cruel world".
I’m reading The Hills of Shivers and Shadows right now and being in the middle of it I really wished I hadn’t watched this video because you said you cried at the end of it. All I can think now is that someone is going to die (maybe or maybe not). I’m very anxious to finish it now. Thanks for the reviews.
Hi Jess! I read Fear Me, Love Me per your recommendation because I also love Labrynth/Jareth. I loved that book!! I read it on KU then ordered a copy because I just need to have the one with Jord Liddell on the cover❤
Loved loved Loved Heartless Heathens and There Are No Saints / There Are No Sinners Duet!!! (Thanks for the recommendations!) Fabulous Recommendations from you thank you!! Can't wait to try Graves, Sicko, and Sick Fux! 💜💜💜
First of all, can I just say that your editting is on another level 🤩. Second you always manage to get me intrigued, because your descriptions are detailed but without spoiling the plot. I love your list and how you recommend them.❤🖤
I’ve read and loved 85% of the books mentioned, and Enslaved has been on TBR for years. Not interested in Cry Baby, or Sick Fux, and I DNF’d Sicko after she got to college. Thanks for the rec on Graves which I’d definitely like to read.
The darkest series I’ve ever read is The Jewelry Box series by Pepper Winters!!! Super tough to read and very emotional! Trigger warnings galore!! The Wild is exactly what it says, it is off the rails “wild” and extremely taboo with some twists and turns! I think I rated it 3 stars. Even though it wasn’t my most favorite, I’m glad I read it! Great video as always📚🍁👻🎃Happy Fall!!
Cool collab. Question, do you find that some dark stories have light at the end of the tunnel or do they remain in the dark? Wondering if it is like scary movies? Thank you for the video 👻
I hope Sam Mariano does the rest of the Coastal Elite series on audio so you can read them because she is not done with Aubrey and Dare. They are in the background of the next books. There’s an overarching plot with them, which is fascinating.
Unsure if you have read “ Her Vicious Beasts” series by E.P. Bali. - I believe there will be a total of 5 books ( technically with the prequel novella it’s 6) but THIS SERIES IS AMAZING .

Thanks for these recs. Hills of Shivers and Shadows sounds right up my alley, and I checked out the audiobook sample, and it's amazingly well done.
Yeay my favourite vids from jess! Totally gonna check these out, I'm so into darker romance for this october ❤
🖤🖤🖤
Hills of Shivers and Shadows is my book club pick for November, so I’m excited to get to this one!! ❤

YASSS!!!! 🖤🔪
Wow! These are great reads! I just ran and found a copy of Sick F*x. Thanks again for all the great recs!
This was a fun collab! Loved the recs 🖤
Thanks for collabing Jess. I heard about The Wild years ago and that was enough for me. I'm curious to hear what you thought about it

Ahhh thank you Diana, your comments always brighten my day! 🥹♥️🫶🏼
I’m reading the third and final book, Heart of Frost and Scars in the Frozen Fate series. It’s enthralling.

Good morning and thanks for sharing ☺️
Pam Godwin’s Deliver Us, From Evil, Into Temptation was an awesome read and my top pick for the year. 🖤
great list Jess!
Thank you! Checking your vid out now! 🖤
A dark romance inspired by Labyrinth? I'm intrigued!
💕🖤💕
I have a few of these on my wish list. Sounds like a dark good time! Hopefully eventually I can try some of them.
Absolutely loved the wild!
Love all these recs. Adding a couple of these to my TBR.
I love The Wild, but I think it is more taboo and not too dark. It is VERY taboo though.
@@amberreadsromance I ended up loving The Wild! Def the most taboo book I’ve ever read lol
I second the wild series.

Graves is one of my Favorite books!! So so good with a really sweet HEA

*Question:* do you have any recommendations for dark romance tropes (kidnapping, Mafia, Stalker) that aren’t dark?
Sinners duet was also very good.

The link for Heartless Heathens takes me to Curse of the Thorn King
Oops, thanks I’ll fix that now!
Where did you get an audiobook for the wild? I haven’t been able to find it.
There was a link on the authors Instagram! 💕 I think she still has the post up!
@ thank you so much 😊

I had to DNF hills of shivers and shadows but just finished still beating so I may pick it back up.. it was just a bit much for me
I own my fair share of Pam Godwin books but haven’t mustered up the courage to read. This is clearly my sign to stop putting it off.
