I have no problem with an age gap romance as long as the book doesn’t start when the fmc is a small child and the mmc is a friend of her family. The thought that a grown man can develop feelings for someone they gave piggybacks and sweets to as a child gives me the ick, especially when there’s spice 🤢
Just wanted to say thank you for the note on Dark Notes! It's a warning that never gets mentioned I feel like and it's the only one that will make me instantly put down/not like a book. I had that book on my TBR for a long time but I've removed it, so I appreciate the note!
Another forbidden teacher/student romance I think you would like is Secret Lucidity by EK Blair. I’m not sure if there’s an audio book but it’s right up your alley. I highly recommend it.
My favorites on your list are Sweet Dandelion, Birthday Girl & The Doctor. A few that you may like if you haven’t read them already: Your Dad Will Do by Katee Robert, Always Been You by Q.B. Tyler, Don’t Kiss The Bride by Carian Cole and Playing for Keeps by Kendall Ryan
I know this video is getting older but I do have some forbidden recommendations I think you might really like!! So some of them would go into the categorie "Family friend" but i like to use "Dads best friend" Cash by MacKenzie Fox. What was meant to be by Q.B. Tyler. And as for the categorie, "Ex boyfriends father" I have one recommendation. Mr Bentley by Mackenzy fox. (This book lives rent free in my head its so good!!) And for "Age Gap" Call me Daddy by Jade west (this one's definitely on the more spicy side and if you're not into the daddy kink I wouldn't recommend cuz this is heavy on that!! (The FMC is over 18 and her and the MMC are not blood related) Sweet Temptation by Cora Reilly. Scandals of the father by Zoe Blake. Older by Jennifer Hartmann. The boy and his Ribbon duet by Pepper Winters. Mr Masters by T.L Swan. I also have one for the Categorie "Teacher/Student" but like Gothikana it's Student/Professor. Nocticadia by Keri Lake. (Is now my favorite book) Thats all the age gap/forbidden books I wanted to recommend if anyone ends up seeing this do not hesitate to read these books there so worth it especially if you love forbidden like me ;)
Confidence of Wildflowers was also my first and only age gap. I enjoyed the first one but I had to instantly DNF the second one because of her decisions. Just thinking about it annoys me LOL.
I started to lose hope Credence won't make it at the end of the Guardian category, just for it to get its own category! 😻😻😻😻🎉😹 It was sooooo good! Birthday Girl is one of my official summer reads, and can't wait! I'm also really intrigued by Praise by Sara Cate, so thank you for suggesting it! ❤️🔥

I loveeeee KULTI by Mariana Zapata ! It's my favourite Student/coach romance!
Off Balance has now moved up on my TBR! Thank you :)

Yes there is an audio for this and it is one of my all time favorite student/teacher romances and no one can tell me otherwise LOL :)

Apparently the libraries in my area hate forbidden romance books 😔...guess i'll have to buy (and donate the books I don't love) 😅
Confidence of Wildflowers was also my first and only age gap. I enjoyed the first one but I had to instantly DNF the second one because of her decisions. Just thinking about it annoys me LOL.
I think another category you could add is religious men who've taken a vow of celebacy.

Bahaha it was originally in the guardian category but while I was filming I decided it 100% deserved its own spot! Such an amazing read 🖤
Not as forbidden but I love a good ex's brother romance. Ex Games by Stella Rhys is a fave. ❤
Her Ruthless Duke by Scarlett Scott is a guardian/ward historical romance.
Love unexpected is .my favourite ❤❤❤❤❤❤
Girl same I love inked in lies I always forget the heroine's name
Sharing Noelle by Margot Scott. "My hot stepbrother. His gorgeous dad. An impossible choice."
I’ve been looking for a book where the FMC falls in love with her sister’s ex fiancé. Does any such book exist?
Still Beating by Jennifer Hartmann
