March was the hottest market we’ve seen since the spring of ’22! 🔥 Consumer confidence and buyer demand are strong. This momentum is expected to carry into Q2, with numbers poised to climb even higher. In this San Francisco Market Update video, I cover the statistics gathered from our Chief Market Analyst, Patrick Carlisle.
⭐️March 2024 absorption rate for single family homes and condos. Absorption rate measures buyer demand vs. the supply of listing for sale. The higher the percentage, the more heated and competitive the market.
⭐️The % of properties selling over list price continues to rise moving into spring.
⭐️Homes selling for $3M+ rebounding dramatically.
⭐️A notable year-over-year increase in new listings.
⭐️Despite an increase in new listings there was a dip in the number of solds (sales in 1 month mostly reflect accepted offers in the previous month, but based on pending sale activity, should jump substantially in April).
