I think they have lost credibility
The trouble with taking DSS clients is that their benifits can be stopped suddenly and the landlords then have no income and a tenant that takes ages and is costly to move out. We bought property for our pension as my husband was self employed. Pets are also a problem, especially cats that have flees and the property then needs fumigating as the next tenant and myself have a reaction to them. Glad we don't have rentals anymore. I know people who are selling up or moving into holiday letting.
This new law will be an own goal and do harm to the rental market.

It seamed to me that the three lady’s on tonight had a hard job explain their point of view on some subjects which I take that they really didn’t know much about it a lot of hand waving and not able to find the words that was my view
