Completely agree with your tips! I love bread and I would never give it up but I do incorporate it into my deficit and enjoy every bite. Life is so short to not enjoy the little things while still being on track with losing weight.
I think it’s crazy that I found your channel years ago when I was in high school for the makeup looks. Back then, you didn’t used to talk as much in your videos so it was hard to understand your personality. But now, you share more of you. I love the way your channel has progressed and how relevant your content is to me.
Choosing a workout that you love is such great advice that NO ONE talks about. There’s so many fitness influencers or “experts” that claim to know the precise workouts to successful weight loss. However, doing workouts you personally dread doing will most likely lead to failure. You were spot on about encouraging people to do ANY type of exercise they personally resonate with and enjoy doing. Thank you for that ❤
I think this is the most realistic and helpful video on tip for weight loss. They all make so much sense. More power to you Amy and thanks for sharing this with us.
This was all 100% on point! I’m new to matcha 💚 weigh myself everyday/ every other day, strength training 4-5 day a week, significantly increased protein daily, and measure/weigh portions. I’m totally aligned with your 10 points! Major snacker here and getting Invisalign cut this habit completely off. Didn’t realize how much I was snacking until I stopped! lol lots of little habits that are attainable AND sustainable :) Good work, Amy! I’m in my early 40s and just started this health journey. A win is a win and every body is different. Consistency is key! Your video is so inspiring!
I agree with your tips. Especially walking .. it’s so underrated!!! Walking is good for the body I have lost so much weight just by walking 10,000 steps at least everyday
Amy! Thank you for your amazing advice it's so realistic! I kind of stopped watching your videos because I got super busy with life but I'm back and I love you more than ever lol
I love those tips I just started taking seriously my weight loss and I love watching your videos because they are realistic and we can implement them on my daily life with my kids 😊
I love this and I love you… seeing you grow in front of my eyes is crazy I been fallowing you since your hair care days when you would use the coconut Ox shampoo! I love watching you become you explain everything and it’s so clear. Thank you I’m in my beginning stages of my weight loss journey this video made me feel so good!
This title piques my interest! I'm always on the lookout for straightforward and effective weight loss tips. Can't wait to see what practical advice this video has to offer!
Matcha can be swapped with a cold coffee (espresso shot +. sweetener + milk + ice) aand it could still have the same effect :) Thanks for all these nice weight loss tips, very helpful ♥
I loveeee how realistic these tips are!! I’m so gonna try it, lost 20 lbs but I have been stuck there still trying to lose more. When I first heard the scale tip, I was like no way I’m doing that. 😂 but hearing you explain it makes soooo much sense, I’m gonna try that out and hope it can repair my relationship with one too. ❤ We’re gonna need another video on those other topics that can be a thing to talk about too 🤣
Hi Amy i love your videos old fan for years i started my weight loss journey and im sooo excited i have a schedule for workouts but im still educating my self on the food side i only have a comment on the voice i always hear an eco in the video if you can use a mike that will cancel the eco noise would be perfect if possible Amy Excuse my english it s not my first language ♥️♥️
But I’m so glad you’re posting weight loss videos because I lost weight with you & Steph many years ago ( I say with because I relied on your videos for inspo lol) and now I’m back on my weight loss journey!! Gotta love happy relationship weight lol
Thanks so much love! First I mix roughly 2 tsp of matcha with honey (roughly 2 tsp) then add slightly warm water (shouldn't be too warm because you're technically only suppose to mix matcha with cool water only but I need some warmth to melt the honey) then I add it to a glass of ice & milk (i use 2% sometimes 3% milk) 💚 This is the matcha I use: Matcha 🇺🇸 amzn.to/3Q1noO0 Matcha 🇨🇦 amzn.to/3t7LwFt
Just wanted to let you know I made your chicken thighs with adobo sauce and seasonings, pico d Gallo and Mexican rice for dinner tonight and oh 👏 my 👏 God 👏 it was SO amazing. My husband and I just loved it. Thank you ❤
WOW! Great advice! The scale one hit HARD. You definitely educated me more on the understanding on how much your weight can really fluctuate during the days, weeks, and months! Do you recommend a specific kind of scale so I can bein tracking my weight as well? :) I'm definitely going to take what I learned and pass it onto my trainer so maybe he can even educate people new to the gym on this topic as well!
Can you post the type of scale you use PLEASE. I am one that avoids the scale at home but I want to change my relationship with the scale by using it as a tool like you stated.
Thanks Amy! I was going to ask you how you determined your calorie deficit number. I'll look into the Yazio app but will start with the goal weight x 12 to start with. I love your videos
Years ago I lost 30 lbs within 3 months by walking an hour a day. It wasn't my goal to lose weight. I was actually walking because I had a lot going on in my life and LOTS of frustration. So, walking an hour around 8 pm was my go to everyday outside doors. However, my diet did not change even tho I have never been a junk food girl but I remember I was eating often Magnum frozen bars, like at least 4 times a week. When I came back at school people didn't stop to let me know how thinner I got then decided to weigh myself and noticed how much I lost. Walking at medium to high speed (not jogging) is such an unbeatable way to feel better physically and mentally.
Amy, let me start by saying you look stunning my Friend! Your makeup and hair is gorgeous, flawless nd your 50lb weight loss just screams a healthier you. Your tips are 💯. I have been on my own weight loss and health journey as you know. I use so many of your tips and this video right here is now my go to Bible. Okkkkk!!! Love the real talk, realistic feedback based on science and your personal experience. Why was I making my Matcha right when you shared your tip about Matcha?!?😉 I agree, its a suppressant and honestly it's delicious. Would you consider doing a part 2 but a Live video? This topic is my top priority in my life and I need another chatty vlog where I can ask you questions live. Not going to lie, I actually would like to pay you a session to have a personal one on one. No pressure but if its something you would consider, lets chat offline. Thanks Bella 🤍🖤👌🏽🏃🏽♀️🙌🏽💪🏽😊🍴
Hi Amy !! Hope you're well . Thank you for sharing this video , it will deff help me to loose weight , because it's been so hard and a journey for me to loose weight . i am deff going to try the matcha , i have been wanting to taste and have matcha for a very long time . i also was going to ask you where can i get the creamed honey ?
Love this video ❤ couple questions for you. How closely did you stick to 1500-1600 calories? Were there days when you ate less? And how long did it take you to lose the weight? On cheat meal days, would you eat light in order to make up for the excess calories?
Thanks so much! I pretty much stick to 1500-1600 everyday except the days where I eat a cheat meal. I don’t count on the days I eat a cheat meal so not sure what my total is but probably around 2500 roughly. Sometimes the day after a cheat meal I’ll eat 1300-1400 ish calories to help even things out after going over the previous days but not always. It’s not needed. But a lot of of the times after I have a cheat meal the next morning I don’t wake up as hungry, so so I’m actually able to eat slightly less the next day but I don’t eat crazy low or anything!
Calorie deficit doesn’t work for everyone. Ex: insulin resistance… I’ve been on a calorie deficit for a year and have not lost any weight .. I also eat clean and I’m in the gym 4 times a week plus long walks .. but congratulations on your weight loss! 😃 🎉
Are you actually tracking, or guessing that you're in a deficit? Because, no offence, but people in concentration camps all lost weight when they were prevented from eating food - I highly doubt your insulin resistance is the problem here. You might want to reassess your eating habits xx
Hi Amy, I hope you're well. I love this video and your silky shiny long hair so much. It's so hard to lose your weight. Have a lovely and relaxing day ahead, Amy.
I always call it a “treat meal.” It makes me feel like it’s a reward for my week of hard work rather than me cheating, likes it’s a game or something 😂
Matcha makes my clench my jaw, and it was GOOD ceremonial matcha 🍵from japan , ippodo so the best! But it makes ME stress and clench. But i do love it. 😍 but i dont drink anymore.
What other way is there to be in a calorie deficit other than counting your calories? There is no way to know how many calories you're consuming unless you're counting them.
Before I started counting calories when I started my weight loss journey I just cut ate half of what I use to eat normally. For example if I use to eat 2 envelopes of oatmeal now I eat only one envelope. I did things like this consistently and I did lose weight. Hope this helps.
It is 7 in the morning. I woke up a little while ago and got the scale and measured my weight. Surprisingly, I gained 2 kilos. I have been on a diet for two weeks and eat only about 1,300 calories a day. In fact, I do not understand what is happening. My weight is 62 kilos and I want to be 54. Why don’t I lose weight?
Aw I totally get that love! I do miss doing self care & beauty content but based on the numbers, my subscribers prefer watching my wellness/weight loss content so I do self care/beauty over on my Instagram ❤️
i appreciate this video, however please be mindful that there is a global boycott of some places you've mentioned especially mcdonald's. the company has decided to fund a military that is harming and displacing palestinians, causing a genocide. we are six months in, if you have seen the news you are probably aware. please look into the boycott, support local burger joints instead. it's better for the economy as well and it's not harming mothers and children (i am having to censor my words here but it's been fatal and horrific)
I love your tips, and congratulations on your weight loss!! I would be careful with the matcha and/or coffee. It messes with your adrenal glands- you may not notice it now, but caffeine slowly destroys them. Could cause hairloss too. It did for me. Much love. 🫶
Hope you guys are loving the new video! 🥰 Don’t forget Aquasana is offering 55% off all systems $49 & up + free shipping here: bit.ly/aquamy 🫶🏼

Thanks so much xo! I'll actually share insight into a cheat day in my next upcoming videos so stay tuned!
Yes agree your points
Thanks Amy! I was going to ask you how you determined your calorie deficit number. I'll look into the Yazio app but will start with the goal weight x 12 to start with. I love your videos
I'm the OG of the OG I've been following you since the days when you were in your bedroom (parents house)
Hi thank you for all the advice! What do you sweeten your matcha with?
Great video👍Thanks Amy☺😘
What time of day do you weigh yourself please!
You look so amazing!!!! Beautiful! I am trying to fast right now

So do you follow the same calorie deficit amount the 1500-1600 the entire journey?
Can you tell me what is the ideal weight when measuring food

How did you make your matcha?
I’ve always loved your approach to weigh loss! Love this video 🥰 I’m gonna start drinking matcha 🤣
Where you buy your calories scale from?
Great tips ❤

Happy it helped! Thanks for watching ❤️
Hi Amy, I hope you're well. I love this video and your silky shiny long hair so much. It's so hard to lose your weight. Have a lovely and relaxing day ahead, Amy.
Aw thank you so much xo
Coffee is also great as an appetite suppressant
So, when I calculate my calories do I subtract an amount from the result?
I've never had matcha. What brand do you recommend?
I can't do a deficit while breastfeeding 😢 Any tips?
I loooove Jade Leaf Matcha 🍵 it’s so delicious 😋
I’m obsessed with Coke Zero I heard if u still do calorie deficit you can drink it every day? Is it true?
I always call it a “treat meal.” It makes me feel like it’s a reward for my week of hard work rather than me cheating, likes it’s a game or something 😂
What matcha do you drink ?
Matcha makes my clench my jaw, and it was GOOD ceremonial matcha 🍵from japan , ippodo so the best! But it makes ME stress and clench. But i do love it. 😍 but i dont drink anymore.
Are you always in a deficit or do you ever switch to maintenance for a period of time?
I switch to maintenance every 3-4 months usually!
It’s my birthday today 🎉 It’s definitely a cheat day lol
Yay happy birthday ✨❤️
You look amazing 👏 ❤
Thank you ❤️
Hi did you lose the stubborn belly fat and fix bloating
I meant how did you sorry
