It depends if you will only be using AIOs or also other styles of cloth diapers. I personally like to have 36-42 diaper changes for a newborn, but that would be super expensive with AIOs. I had 6 for my newborn and wished at first I had 12. We used them mostly for easy nighttime changes. 💜 Heidi
