A lawyer to represent an idiot for not knowing an ID card and drivers license aren’t the same and her license being suspended for being an idiot….. why do these people exist?
I'm not an american so i don't really understand their system, however it also confuses me that her license was "reinstated" the day after it was revoked, but its not valid??? If its reinstated why isn't it valid?
It means she has the ability to go to the department of motor vehicles (DMV) and get a new license. She'd have to fill out some paperwork and then she'd receive a paper copy of her license to keep with her until the card comes in the mail. Clearly she did not get a new license if all she received was a state ID card so I don't know what she's on about. Anyways, if you want to think of it this way her driving privileges were revoked but then the privileges were reinstated the next day, not the license. It's very clear on the suspension paperwork you get at the time the suspension was issued that when it's over you have to get another license, though watching this I'm not sure if she bothered to read it.
It is scattered through the multiple explanations: What she appears to have reinstated was her ID card. Not her drivers license. Now we can't say for sure exactly what happened there, but my sympathy to her was nonexistent because she is clearly drunk. They never even got to the DUI Procedure because she didn't appear to have a license to begin with.
she was allowed to get a drivers license but you dont just get it for free, if your drivers license was taken then you need to buy one when youre allowed again. this is not an american thing, im not american either but im pretty sure this is in every country. Being allowed to have a drivers license doesnt mean you have one.
@ It sounds like something comparable to my countrys system. She did however seem like she was genuinely trying to do right by going to court. She was however not smart enough to get it right. She should have gone along with the traffic stop either way and taken care of the ticket in court later. I would also praise myself lucky that all i got was a ticket for no license if i got pulled over while driving under the influence of alcohol. I thank you for explaining the process to me!
I guess it is just standard system but obscured by big words. From what I understand it's the same in my country: If I loose driving license due to X for Y time, after Y time my license is no longer suspended, BUT I still need to visit DMV and get my license "back" (digitally).

If she acts like that with a manic episode on medication then that's the equivalent to a DUI. Driving drunk is a DUI. Just stop beating around the bush. Drive sober, or get an Uber. I don't give a fuck how fragile you are.
they gave her so many outs its insane, woman privilege. If it was a dude the moment he talked the way she talked he would instantly be under DUI and if he didnt goo out the car like her he would be tazed instantly
No, I think the entire work she would have had is that the officer it was literally about to get off work and he figured that she wasn’t going to drive the car anyways due to invalid license so even if she was drunk, he wouldn’t have to worry about her being back on the road but her dumb ass persisted and an officer who like Wheat was a part of the night shift saw instantly she was drunk and went to process the tickets😂
Never understood why people's first thought is to argue or even fight with an officer, even when drunk... It's not like the officer is going to be like "Your annoying and argumentative behavior was fun, you're free to go have a nice day..." If anything they would be more likely to be lenient if you are nice and don't waste their time... and if not you are 10x more likely to get charges dropped arguing in court than at a traffic stop.
