The ideal scenario would be to receive all the benefits you get when lowering the car such as better handling, but still keeping a decent ride quality when cruising around. But is that truly possible? Well I think I might have found the perfect solution for my F10 M5. It's a suspension setup that is not only fully adjustable when it comes to height, but also keeps a lot of features that many modern cars come equipped with. And oh yeah, the ride quality stays nearly the same.

The number one reason I lowered my 335i is performance, but I also love how it looks. I'm in the full coil-over camp, but glad this worked out for you. The KW v3's can do height and dampening. Everyone has their preferences, and mine circle around ONLY two doors. There's nothing like the E92. We need to see more 335i content... Nice vid.
Man that came out perfect. I don’t like really low slammed cars, doesn’t look good at all to me and impractical. This is perfectly done especially since you kept your ride comfort.

I actually just purchased my first air suspension set up ever and going to install on the M5! Always been a coilover guy but the price for KWv3/v4 is around the same for air suspension so I said why not try it out. I’m currently running HR springs with stock struts.

I had a set of ICS Suspension installed on my 328XI and I had them removed to HR lowering springs and a set of OEM shocks and struts because I also preferred the OEM ride. Now I have the coilovers listed on Ebay for sale. Great job the car looking amazing.
Hey man you really inspired me to wanting to buy a 335i, I was just wondering if I should get a manual one if I can find one or an auto one. I found autos but dont come with paddle shifters. Are paddle shifter more preferable for tuning wise. If you can help me answer this thank you. Also anyone reading this, I would appreciate it so much and much love to the car community.

Hey I just realized when I asked you if a blow off valve needed a tune on a stock 335i I just realized the blow off valve needs the charge pipe to work, so still safe with no tune ? It won’t run rich or lean ? Even if I add the dual cones as well
Did you mount the collar lower than is spec'd? I thought those were 1.25 drop max and really recommended only .75 drop is why I got the H&R's
What mod. would you do first on an F90 LCI M550i? I'm thinking Vossen wheels but?
If you can’t deal with the brake dust; I recommend swapping to Hawk HB828B.760 Brake Pad front. I got tired of the brake dust battle a put on my 2014 M5 and no more brake dust.

Lowered my 15 Camaro SS back years ago and I loved it for performance plus it looked nasty. Still haven’t decided if I wanna do it to my 15 335i or just save and go M3
Screw the M cars, save the money and do the 335i right!!! It's better than the M3 if you build it right, and put M3 suspension on it. That's what I did.
Want to see you floor it in the m5 or the 335i

Christian, carbon ceramic pads will solve your wheel problem. They will not create clingy dust.
I mentioned in the video that ceramic pads for this brake setup are impossible to find. At least reputable brands.

Vehicle Virals throughout the forums and online it seems like KW is the unanimous choice when it comes to adjustable springs and coil overs. But I understand your decision, Dinan is the closest you can get to OEM+. I personally when the low cost route and did H&R lowering springs
