Update June 2024: There is a learning curve but it has plenty of settings and the app has cool features. It lets you know every step of the cycle and when it’s complete and sends a reminder if you haven’t removed your clothes. The dial face can be changed to a date and time and you can change the control screen to different themes based on the season or even holidays and change the melody. Cons: It has a drum light but you can’t turn on the light while a wash is in progress. I personally like to view my wash cycle now and then. Don’t ask, I just do🤭. The water level is very low. It’s high efficiency which I’ve had before but this water level was extremely low, my clothes felt dry after the wash. 5 pairs of leggings, 3 tank tops and a sports bra and the detergent pod did not dissolve during the quick wash cycle. Tried thee times cold and hot water and twice on rinse and spin only. I did an online chat and 2 calls to customer service to see if there was a setting to adjust the water level. I was told to try the extra rinse cycle. That worked. Now I always use extra rinse for every wash which kinda defeats the purpose of a H.E washer. Other than that, it washes very well and spins the clothes until they are almost dry. I would recommend it.
Got the LG WM6500HBA just because I didnt feel the need t spend an extra $200 for the 6700HBA model just for the automatic detergent dispenser. Been a awesome unit so far! Waiting for my new LG DLHC5502B Dual Inverter Heat Pump dryer to be delivered so I can stack them.
Just sold my Electrolux washer and dryer. The drum rollers go bad quickly The replacement rollers are not the same as the factory and they make a lot of noise. Electrolux was amazing at cleaning though. I have moved on to the GE combo washer/dryer. Happy so far (minus the lint catch issue). I also have the LG wash tower. My guests often complain about the LG interface.
So we have a 15 year old GE Frontloader. It is upstairs and it shakes the house(it sucks). Since alot of homeowner have laudry rooms are on second floor. WHy is this not a big feature. An feed back would be helpful about this issue
Thanks for the question! I would make sure your unit got installed correctly and is properly balanced, because it definitely should not be shaking that much!
@@BoulevardHome Thanks for responding!! So I am in the market now and am looking, and again all most none of hte reviews mention vibration( I guess I am the only one to experice it, again thanks
4 days ago I bought the LG WM6700HBA and scheduled delivery for 2wks. Yesterday I received a call that it’s on back order until the end of May.
Oh no! We're sorry to hear that. Hopefully that wait can be adjusted and you can get it sooner. Thanks for watching!
@@BoulevardHome nope but I did get it end of May like promised.

Launch date for LG wm6700hba in Australia?
Question: can you use powdered detergent in any of these models?
As far as I know you can. He said that powder detergent needs to be put directly in the drum in the first one
I'll stick to Speed Queen.
