I really like your setup! So excited for you to do some newborn videos. You have a really good stash going. When's you're official due date?

Jay's Nest March15-18th they are unsure. The calculations didn’t quite add up to the size of the baby when he was measured and dated at 9 weeks. They thought I would be 9 weeks but he was already 10 weeks and a few days lol.

Maybe he will come a little sooner then! That's so close, not much longer 😀

Jay's Nest Thank goodness it’s getting close lol. I feel great if I don’t anything. Then when I start to do stuff I ether almost pass out or the next day I cramp and am in so much pain I can’t do anything for days. There’s nothing at all wrong though, just apparently normal pregnancy problems.... Even my blood pressure is better than it typically is.

Sounds like you have an irritable uterus. I get the same way during pregnancy. It sucks to feel every growing pain and every cramp. Have you had your iron tested? During pregnancy my anemia gets really bad. I pass out all the time, I'm light headed, and super fatigued.

Jay's Nest Yes, I have had it tested several times. Everything this pregnancy is in better shape than my usual normal. I ether pass it for no reason (that’s usually early morning) or it’s because I’m extremely sensitive to heat. Being pregnant has made my stupid heat sensitive so bad. I can’t go anywhere they have heat on for more than 15-20 minuets. I’m so happy it’s winter though.

Also my stash consists mostly of Thirsties covers, so far but I plan to get Thirsties AIOs as well.

Tara CC Thirsties covers are awesome! I used them with my first baby. I just love the ease of AIOs. I have some Thirsties covers in my OS stash to go with our fitteds.

Nicole Smith-Wilson which would you recommend for newborns?

I’m new to the clothing world, and so I’m trying to figure out what my set up will look like for my little one. So this video is very helpful. Also I’m wondering do you recommend cloth wipes over disposable ones.New Subbie as well 💗

Tara CC I didn’t use cloth wipes with my first. I was in college so she went to daycare and we traveled a lot. I found it easier to do disposable wipes. However, I’m a stay at home mom now and think using the cloth wipes will be easier this time. I think cloth wipes are way more affective when cleaning the baby up. I just don’t prefer them on the go. Do you make cloth videos? I’m obsessed with watching them right now as I’m waiting until March for baby boy to come!

Nicole Smith-Wilson I haven’t but I plan on making one soon. I just didn’t think anyone would be interested in it. I’ve been obsessed with clothing since finding out about the ugly side of disposables.

This is what I am debating on! Whether to cloth diaper or not. I am a first time mom so I am afraid that it will be a little overwhelming! What do you think?

KRISTEENA I never got overwhelmed but I started very slow at first. I started to add cloth diapers into the routine at 2-3 months with my first. I changed 1-3 changes to cloth every day/week until I felt comfortable. I went with some of the easiest diapers to start with. Which I saw as Pocket diapers and All In One diapers. After a few months I felt like I had the hang of it and it never stressed me out at all. I’m a super stressful and high anxiety type of person so that was surprising. My daughter successfully went 2 years in cloth and we only ever had minor problems. This time I’m gonna try it from the beginning and see how it goes. I honestly loved it with my daughter and never found it hard. I do have some disposables as backup etc because you even know what’s gonna happen. I absolutely recommend trying cloth to everyone. I know some people that love it and some that don’t. You really just have to give it a try to know for sure! I learned everything as I went. It’s not something you have to try to figure out before hand. It’s okay to learn as you go. I found it less stressful not overwhelming myself with information in the beginning.
