Did I hear ya'll say the army plans on operating these till 2070???? That's wild, I guess its gonna be the army's B-52 in that regard. I can't complain, but I thought the army was gonna pick up its own tiltrotor soon (I assumed) as a replacement for the UH-60?
MrMattumbo The tilt rotor was never designed to replace the black hawk. The tilt rotor is designed to complement the Blackhawks. Eventually the hill rotors can bring the troops in in the Blackhawk it supposed to offer close air support if necessary.

They know what's good.

yeah we still use them today too. I think there’s one parked at the airport right now. They came in a couple days ago with the National Guard.
