Regardless of origin, if the panels are UL listed, they go through very significant testing. The first test requires lab technicians to drop a two-inch solid steel sphere from a height of 51 inches onto the surface of the PV module. This simulates the energy of a hail stone measured at 1.375 inches in diameter falling at terminal velocity through the sky. The second impact test involves firing 25-millimeter, or approximately one-inch, ice balls from a pneumatic cannon. Finally, because international standards often require it, UL’s labs also test electrical performance degradation.

Since I’m on a role with saltiness this morning, solar isn’t near as efficient as it should be. So once the old technology is released from being hidden, solar will either not be needed or it will be near 100% efficient. Tesla energy is being reclaimed and we will all have free wireless energy. It’s here
Might not be but the cost per kwh is ridiculous and having solar reduces that cost massively.
