I'm using this on an older XT2, and it works very well. Using a single focusing point it is fast and accurate. It means that my XT2 is now wildlife capable!
@@LucaPetraliaPhotographyI purchased the lens with the price of 75 % of fujinon 100-400 mm after watching your video and I am impressed with its performance.
Hi Luca, I'm new to your channel. I just bought this lens and ran into trouble with it, so I needed someone who shoots Fuji to explain the lens to me. You did a great job! I have been shooting many years but only recently got into wildlife. Thank you!
Good to see you Luca, very good and thorough “user” review (and very nice images). I sold my XF100-400 (and got the XF70-300), sometimes I wish a had kept it, one of the things that bothered me about the XF100-400 was that it didn’t have an arca-swiss compatible tripod foot mount and I had to use a separate plate which made it a little unstable. I believe that the Tamron does have the arca-swiss foot, but I see that you are using a separate plate, is there a problem with the way it comes from factory? Be well and stay safe.
Hi Enrique, thanks as usual. I'm using a plate to avoid damaging the one on the lens as the lens isn't mine. Just an extra caution, but if it was mine i would've used it without problems
@@LucaPetraliaPhotography Any regrets or you happy with the 150-600. Im honestly not sure if I need something that the far in focal length, so I’m between it and the 70-300mm. I want to capture birds but also motorsport and sports. But all for creative and artistic photography purposes. What would you categorize each for?
@lionsborn no regrets at all, but I also have the 70-300, which is a wonderful lens. If you're torn between the two, I'd say try with the 70-300 first. Maybe but used so in case it's not the length for you you can resell without wasting money

Is image quality good with the XT2 ? Even at 500 ?
It is one of my trinity lenses: fujifilm 10-24, Tamron 18-300, Tamron 150-500!
I appreciate your time and count on your judgement about fujifilm compatible lenses. Thank you.
Thank you!

I'm glad to hear that!

Thanks! Let me know if there is anything else you may need
Excellent video. I found it to be informative and well produced. Did you try the lense with a monopod as well as the tripod?
Thanks! I didn't try a monopod to be honest, but I know that it's a great solution for flexibility and stability

Hi Luca, this or the 150-600 fuji lens ?
Hi, for myself I got the 150-600, it is more crispy and internal zooming, which makes a lot of a difference in gimbal heads
