Super guitarist
Melvin Franklin (Temptations) stayed 2 blocks down from Randy (same street), Ronnie White (Smokey Robinson & the Miracles) 3 blocks down, Stevie Wonder stayed 2 blocks over (1 block down) , A Motown Executive stayed right across the street from Randy. Earl Klugh (guitar), Gene Dunlap (drums), Reginald McBride (bass) and many more of today's accomplished Musicians all stayed in this area. It was a great time to grow up in Detroit.
Randy would have top quality garage band performances in his garage as a youngster (the talent was obvious). Detroit was truly lit then, "as the young folks say today".
Saw Randy last night play with David Koz sax player, opening for Barry Manilow. He was really good
fantastic musician
