Have had the 572 for 3 years now. Way better power even power in the stump then any of my other 372s. Just got a 592 2 months ago. Have been using a 390 for 5 years. That 592 is one of the most awesome songs I have ever owned. But like you said time will tell on durability.
Thanks for the comparison! The 5 series sure do run great. That 572 was perfect! Kinda pricey though. I have an oem orig. edition 372 also, and it is probably just a little faster than that clone, but not as fast as the 572. It is one of my favorite saws though. I have a blue clone 372 also, and it is ported, but still slower I think than your 572 (but it was 200 bucks). 562's and 572's are both really nice saws. The Dolmar 7900 is super smooth, about the same weight, and cuts great too. I really like my Dolmar. But, they didn't have 572's when I got it. Now, I think I'd just have a 562 and a 572 and maybe a little 50cc Dolmar or Echo ported and that would be perfect.
Thats the way the dealer/factory has it tuned and i put a tachometer on all my saws its at factory spec u may need to asjust your hearing aid so thats the way it gets ran 372s are reliable saws just slow unless u port them but u everyone dont like fast
Own the pro, run it for production logging and know it can definitely fly through hardwood very well. Would definitely love to own the XP but money is tight for the contract cutter
I have that fake 372xp pro at home and I really do enjoy it! Since I’m not a logger a little slower cut time doesn’t bother me much as long as it’s in the ball park 👍🏼 great video and I will see if the saw holds up for a few years haha
Its already at 1/2 turn out im giving away so i dont wanna run it too lean beings im giving it away and its a little fat until you lean on it thats the way i like running the older saws

The Husky 5xx series are great as long as they don’t have the plastic cage main bearings
your 372 pro is way out of tune, richer by far, than the 572, no valid comparison in this test.

I think there really good saws i enjoy them theres nothing wrong with them at all i have a kit saw from them and its been pretty good
Your 372 sounds a little rich/fat. Tune the carb a little and you’ll be closer to the 572.
