I have this exact model for a year and a half. It's good and all-around better air cooler than my previous one. But one thing I hate is how hard it is to be cleaned and how loud the bearing on the bottom is (it's the point of contact between fan and bottom plate). I had to inject machine oil in whenever it rattles. Also, vinegar doesn't work for me, I soaked the honeycomb in hydrochloric acid solution.

@@MiloB mainly minerals leftover after the water evaporates and yes also molds.

Would assume under control panel and screen . I haven’t taken this one apart but another Honeywell one I did and it was right under buttons . I believe if I’m not wrong there is paper that came with this one that shows the panel . Maybe Google it
What's the air flow for this machine for cooling off a 1 Bedroom apartment?
300cfm yes it will help cool it down . This isn’t ac though so keep your expectations low . It provides a cool breeze it . Won’t do much if weather is over 95+ degrees without ac
I have one, I'm thinking of putting ice in the tray because the air isn't noticably cold. Thank you for your review.
You might need to add it directly to tank remove handles and lift it up and have someone add bunch of icecubes
@@MiloB , thank you. I lifted the top off, out some ice in the water and replaced the top.

When i press the cool feature it just beeps constantly and doesn't cool
Maybe too much water in tank , or low water . Or could be bad pump also . I had one that did same thing never ended up getting it fixed . Probably water pump died
@MiloB i found out it was too little water and i added like 5 cups more and it works now

Will it hurt to add ice at the bottom?? Will it get cooler??
Yes you can add ice . Sometimes I even add ice pack make sure it’s in the corner and not close to pump .

My interface stopped working and won't turn off
Did u unplug it and leave it unplugged for 30 mins or so
Also can you still control it with remote
I power cycled it for 30 minutes and the remote has seem to quit responding even with new batteries
Gonna leave it off for the evening and if it isn't working I with get my multimete and test it.

Funny you don’t think I did that lol trust me I tried it many times there is no plastic to peel anymore . I got it as used unit online so who knows what happened to it . Not a big deal still works as it should
