Galneryus is just on a totally entire level than Lovebites. Galneryus is a progressive power metal band with neo classical influences and very technically challenging instrumentals, Lovebites is a tribute to new wave of british heavy metal with fairly good technical playing but pretty average compared to most metal bands of the genre while Galneryus is just insanely good
@@jonasw3945 Well, that's just your opinion. Music is complex thing, with technical being just part of it. Galneryus are good, but for instance the vocals are far from the best in the genre. While Lovebites practically have no competition in the female bands in the genre. I won't call them the queens of metal in general, but hey definitely are for melodic power/trash/speed genre. Pretty average to most metal bands of the genre, really? Could you name at least one of these "most"?
@@jonasw3945 Tribute band? Pretty average? Come on, get real. I'm not saying that they are on the same level as Galneryus, but Galneryus have also been around for 20 years now. Also Galneryus are much more on the progressive side, so I wouldn't even compare the two in the first place. But Lovebites have some great proggy songs as well and I can see them shift more and more into that direction eventually.
@@cepho8349 Don't get me wrong, Lovebites is an absolutely great band and I'm a fan of a lot of what they do, I just had issue with comparing it to Galneryus
I saw that another poster recommended that you check out the live version of their song "Angel of Salvation". I definitely agree. And for "Angel of Salvation", there is an orchestra on stage with them. (And of course, it features more jaw dropping guitars).
The voice that sound on the second place (that you said it was like opera) is the guitarist voice He sang in a band (not so much known like Galneryus) and he is pretty good BTW, he's also a violinist This is the reason why they have some classical music features in their songs
I remember 20 years ago I was deep into the japanese punk/métal/rock music and SYU (guitarist) was playing in an independant really dark project called Aushvitz, maybe you Can find the EPs Somewhere online.
DOLLY HAS SUCH BEAUTIFUL EYES THAT LIGHT UP WATCHING METAL AND ROCK. SUCH A CUTE COUPLE. OLD PEOPLE LIKE ME DELIGHT IN SEEING WONDERFUL YOUTH. METAL AND ROCK ARE LEFT IN GOOD HANDS AS US OLDIES FADE AWAY.
Have y'all checked out Aldious? They've had three singer-songwriters so far, but recently they did a concert with Maki Oyama as guest vocalist. I haven't heard it yet but she is fire! I expect and hope for a couple of tunes to drop on here for publicity if they haven't yet. Maki also did a concert with Asterism, a young three piece metal band that sounds like six. A couple of songs from that are on here. D_Drive for kickin' instrumentals. Good road trip music. Bridear has done a variety, but when they go hard, they're freakin' great metal. Their early stuff was solid metal and they seem to be coming back to it. Mary's Blood is energy and great skills. Their first video (I think) was Marionette and I still like it best. Trident, another young trio, is really good. If you're in the mood for chaotic thrash metal, Moth in Lilac is insane. And lead guitarist doesn't have a hand exactly, she has a pick holder attached to her wrist and partial hand, and absolutely rips with it. The group is on hiatus, but there are some videos on here. I think the channel has reacted to Lovebites. And Nemophila? (See... everything they've done.) And Wagakki band (rock and traditional instruments, sounds kinda metal to me). But yeah, Japan has some great metal bands. Lots.
Thanks for your reaction guys, I loved it. Just wanted to point out: at 14:10 when you were discussing if the crowd was singing, I'm pretty sure the deeper voice was the singer Sho, and the rest was a combination of the crowd and maybe a pre-recorded segment, like the intro. I don't have as much faith in the crowd as Dolly 😂 Also 14:55, I believe the guy on keyboard, Yuhki, has a pitch bend or modulation wheel, or one of those tools on the side of the keyboard (I don't play instruments so I don't actually know what it is 😅), that's why he was playing one-handed. You can see him use it in some of their other videos.
hello guys, it's been long time for your last LOVEBITES reaction, now this should be a good time to react them again since they upload their new live video called : Don't Bite The Dust. And as usual, LOVEBITES won't dissapoint you, so pls check it out 🤘🐺
@@lianshadowmaker7834 Yeah, I checked their social media and saw the announcements. I left Asami some nice comments. I see she is getting a lot of love and support. That is great. Now hopefully they won't be worried about sharing more information with us in the future.
I personally think The song like (struggle for the freedom flag)-(whisper in the red sry)-(chasing the wind)-(new Legend). Is a better start for someone like yama-b.
This is totally EPIC. Mind-blowing performance. Power-metal at the highest level.
Galneryus and Lovebites.... the kings and queens of METAL !!!
