Honestly, to my ear, these are not close to the Tin t2s, they are a very noticeable step up from them. The soundstage is fine, and the detail they can resolve and locate spatially on that soundstage is really shocking. After a little time with them, I went over to my $300 Hifiman planar magnetic headphones and started going back and forth. Sort of an absurd test, because the Hifiman are 6x the price, have a completely open back design, and are so huge that no sane person would ever leave the house while wearing them. So not exactly a fair fight. Are these going to replace the best headphones I own? No. But even the idea that I wanted to compare the two kind of tells you just how good these are.

You just keep recommending cheap and incredible stuff z. I bought these about two weeks ago, as my first iem and when I tried them I was very surprised. These punch way above there price point. These are so incredibly clear and detailed, but they still have some incredible punch in the bass. The mids also are very present, which I wasn’t expecting with these. A very good product for the price, amazing value. Thank you z, I appreciate you can always recommend these fantastic products. Everything I’ve bought that you’ve recommended has been amazing, and I’ve bought three things based on your reviews and some more information obviously. Now just don’t tell me about anything better damnit, I’m so happy with these and would rather not drop another 50$

@@UNSCPILOT Bro seriously, i'm using pair of zs10 pro for nearly a year now and they have really bad timbre on upper-mid and treble. It is brutally killing and bleeds my ears in 1,5 to 5khz and there is so much sibilance and harshness on this iems. i used my earphones with macbook pro, galaxy note 8, couple of gaming pc's motherboard soundcards and a tempotec sonata hd pro dac amp. I can only be able to listen without so much harshness when i eq the iems, by lowering 2 and 4khz band a few db. But its killing the details in songs which is unacceptable. I have akg earphones (i believe its model is EO-IG955) which comes with a samsung galaxy s8 and note 8 phones and literally it has 10x better timbre and clearity on sibilance area. Beside that akg has better kicking bass, midbass and sub bass capability than zs10 pros. Yes, absolutely there is really impressive details, a good soundstage and imaging, really good details on treble and mid frequencies on zs10 pros but when i get that much harshness and sibilance that kills my ears, i can't really use the iems for more than few hours... I'm literally thinking that i could be scammed and got a fake pairs of zs10 pro when i watch Z's comments on this video, but there isn't fake one for this iems lol :D can anyone help me about this situation? is it just me that tooo sensitive about harshness on upper mid and lower treble frequency band or this iems is just sooooo overhyped? sorry for my English btw...

@@Kenan_Guney I have to wonder if I'm just lucky or my ears are less vunrable to that particular range because I've been running them off my Fiio M9 for a while now and they sound terrific, richer in the highs than my FH3's, but less "open" sounding (weird comparison for a IEM I know) and less rich on the bass.
I find them to be a fine addition to my (tiny) collection, especially for the cost, I guess they are just hit or miss depending on the person

@@Assimilator702 What do the ZSX's improve over the ZS10 PRO?

    • @Assimilator702
      @Assimilator702 5 років тому +8

Adrian Paredes Gonzalez Everything is better. Number one the treble is improved. ZS10PRO treble is oddly tuned and you’ll know it if you compare it to others. ZS10 PRO treble has too much upper emphasis that makes it not focused and confusing. It sounds tizzy. ZSX also has improved treble tonality. Tonality is VERY IMPORTANT. Most people don’t mention tonality since they don’t know what is is. The bass on the ZSX extends deeper but doesn’t stick out as much and is very authoritive. Midrange on the ZSX is fuller and more forward. ZS10 PRO is thin and while slightly detailed the vocals on the ZSX are presented in a more natural manner and are the clear winner. ZSX overall sounds more natural and engaging.

    Finally received..
Despite being a great all-around the Tin T2 had me wishing for more (being a detail hunter) so I received those ZS10 Pro this week end and.. *OMFG they are mind-blowing for their price range!*
Best 45euros I've ever spend on tech gear so far.
The sound feels full (a wide bass to treble extension) , no funky freq spikes, female vocals are intimate enough. I love when the gear can reveal songs details and they deliver on that task.
The increase in detail helps also with stereo positioning (for gaming)
For now I could not spot weirdness in tonality.
Definitively easy to power despite the internal package.
Fit surprisingly well with stock ear-tips and cable, Low profile so usable on the bed (not the case for T2 or my F4100).
They are smaller that I thought, the tube exit seems wider and longer but well oriented making this a plus.
I wish more cables could adopt the pin protection used in the stock cable.

Both came with the updated cable... One is noticeably thicker than the other... Also came much less crimped, and straightened out in a day of hanging....
The thinner one has been hanging for about 48 hours and i don't think it's ever going to uncrimp completely. Braiding seems better on thicker one too.

Dude, just like you I was absolutely raving about these at band practice earlier today! :-) The ZS10 Pro's arrived a couple days ago and I used them for the first time at rehearsal today and 'Holy Fuck'! I've had some other ZS IEM's I've been using for over a year and there is no comparison to the new ones! I've also got what seems like twice the volume out of my wireless setup but still great clarity. I was running my receiver at 75% but with the ZS10 Pro's I'm below half and have more volume. My bandmate has a pair of $200 Shure IEM's and they sound like garbage compared to these so I've just ordered him a pair

I bought these and at 1st their sound was meh...but then I was told to let them burn for hours then use them again. They improved a lot but not untill I used that same cable you recommended, but most important: I used a good amp and then eq them to enhance their bass.
These are EIMs made by a classical music focused company, therefore they sound so incredibly clear, even better than most 300 or 400 dollars headphones out there, but only for high and mids. When it comes to bass, again they are less than flat, at a point that their sound is very lacky, unless you tune them properly to trick their driver.
I can give their bass clarity a 7 out of 10. Highs and mids are solid 10/10 for their price.

I love the ZSN Pro as well, but I wish they fixed the GIGANTIC 6% THD spike at ~760Hz @ 100dB just like the ZSN original. (see rtings review on the KZ ZSN) For the price I cant complain, and that's why I use them as my daily's at work. I wonder what causes this. Crossover? dynamic driver flex? The only thing I perceive is that the mids to low treble sounds harsh and fatiguing at higher volumes. I do have to say it again though, definitely still worth it at 23 Americano bucks.

Can't wait to give them a listen. I love cheap audio. EDIT: Got them yesterday. That little oomph of bass is exactly what the T2 is missing. Zeos is right in that the T2s are nice and mellow. I'll use them at night when I want to chill and not disturb the Mrs. The ZS10 Pro is my new daily driver. If you have them, listen to Queens of the Stone Age - Burn the Witch and try not to giggle. I dare you. Also, I'm gonna go ahead and say it; the stock cable is bullshit. Yeah, they're $50. Don't care. The cable is terrible. Hate to buy another cable when I have a drawer full of them, but I'll likely break down and do it.

The Z10 Pro's are very impressive for the price!
I pair mine occasionally with the Cayin C5 amp which gives a smoother / warmer sound (but retains all the detail). I found with stock tips the treble could sometimes get fatiguing. .
Treble (and comfort) improved further when I swapped the tips for some Spriral Dots.
The ZS10 Pro's also respond really well to the Cayin's bass boost function!

I can totally agree on the don‘t buy expensive headphone cables, BUT I have a different reason for that: build them yourself! I‘m running my Sony MDR-Z1R from a THX-789 with a SMSL-SU8 and built a custom 19AWG 0.75mm silver plated balanced cable with a 4-pin XLR connector and BOOM, paid like 15-20$ including screwable 3.5mm male plugs for the Sony. Comparable cable from retailers costs 200+ bucks. And hell yeah, with such an expensive pair of headphones, balanced actually matters and a good quality pair of cables is the very least. Now I ordered the ZR10 Pro‘s for my Rift S, but I‘m willing to upgrade the cable for the 16-core linsoul silverplated one with 4.4mm jack, so I‘m building myself a custom adapter from 4-pin XLR to female 4.4mm, so I can use them balanced with a great quality cable on my desktop setup and with the default cable on the Rift S.

The package has bloody arrived. Playing the soundtrack to the Big Star Nothing Can Hurt Me documentary on Amazon audio right now with the KZ ZS10 Pros. Out of the box,
they fit fine, after some rams horn configuration round my ears, not falling out, snug, they sound damned good already. The definition in each channel is stupendous, bass is pretty deep, tight,
but not overdone at all. When drums or heavy bass instruments kick in, you will feel it. Mids and upper are fine, also not overdone! Goddamn! I'm plugged into my Creative labs G6 card via Dell gaming PC. The power these are capable of is absurd, I can see that right off. I only have the main vol. up to perhaps 11 and that's pretty loud, with some good rock/pop personal EQ going on the G6, though. The definition and clarity, already, are rivaling the Fostex RP40s I own. And I'm not a huge IEM fan, either. And they're absolutely not clinical-sounding, whatsoever.

TheChazas I have the Tin T2 and they are shockingly great and mind blowing when considering the price. The downside is the design of the shell. I will deal with it for $28 but not for $60. The metal build quality is top notch but the fit is horrendous. Without the nozzle mod I can’t get them to stay in my ears with silicone tips. Foam tips work it kill all the treble for me. I don’t see how it was possible they were designed to fit human ears. Holes in a wall....yes. Not human ears.

Bro seriously, i'm using pair of zs10 pro for nearly a year now and they have really bad timbre on upper-mid and treble.

@@Kenan_Guney These do have some harsh highs at times so maybe your ears do not enjoy it as much. But for clarity these are amazing with details. We all have different ears. I use silicon ear tips that hold these super close to my eardrum. Play with ear tips maybe?

    • @Kenan_Guney
      @Kenan_Guney 3 роки тому +1

@@HYBECTIVE I tried foam eartips, the ones comes with zs10 pro and my akg silicone eartips they are very similar but not helping about harshness. Also i did the reversing technique with kz's starline eartips and it did the biggest difference but the harshness is still there on some tracks. I figured it out that is a cost of really detailed sounding in this price range i think. Yes it has really good detail, clearity and seperation for its price but there is sibilance that i can't get over. Or its just too much for my ears. maybe not for someone else. I'm looking to buy something like final audio e5000, moondrop or a fiio fh3 maybe. Thanks for your reply.

I almost agree with everything Z says in this video. I have both the T2 and the ZS10 Pro - the T2 is a "smooth" option - but it's smooth because it is rounded out in so many areas - at the expense of fidelity of sound. The ZS10 Pro with stock tips is fairly hot tonally - but the detail, clarity, imaging, etc. is fantastic. I put some Xelastic tips on them & it cuts that hot tonality down to nothing. They're an absolute pleasure to listen to. I have some $200 Mee Audio Pinnacle P1's; the ZS10 Pro outperforms them in every single category hands down. T2 is a good IEM, it really sounds nice! ZS10 Pro sounds better. If you have to choose, get ZS10 pro.

I've had those for a year now, they were always good, but I never felt like they are amazing, I was using silicone tips the whole time, man what a mistake, received my first memory foam tips yesterday, night and day difference, the bass is not as intrusive now, but a lot tighter, the sound is more clear in general, plus they isolate better so I can focus on the sound better, somehow they even made the sound stage wider (probably because with silicone tips, the end of the headphone went right in there, with those it's more recessed)
In general, I cannot imagine even needing better headphones now, before they felt inferior the the MSR7 I also have, now I feel like selling those, as the only benefit they serve at this point is long term comfort.

It has a such a nice balanced full sound. I'm going to get the aptX blutooth cable for it, that way I will have best of both wired/wireless worlds. It sounds better with my Earstudio E100 bluetooth receiver than my dedicated wired headphones. These destroy beatsX.
