How well do you think it would handle big waves like 2 to 3 footers with 4 guys and gear? I do really care about goin fast just want to get to my spot and back safely. I have to cross open water on the lake to get to the backwaters.
If you still have this set up how many RPMS do you hit at wot. I have the 40 Non FNR on a 16x48 crestliner and i usually hit 3850 wot. I Hit 28mph loaded and 31 empty.

Scott Mason it actually does well in rough water. Been in some 3ft swells and at the right angle it will cut rt through them...
I had a 1754 WE with a 45 Mudbuddy. It is not made for 2/3 swells and i say this having loved my boat .

Trevor Cossey With 2 people it runs 30mph solid and I have hit 32mph once at rt angle on water. 4 people it runs 28mph...
Outdoors Addiction only reason I was curious is I have a 37 horse and it only runs around 26 on a 16-52
