It would I agree, but I know they ain't going to record it because its a movie and it's 1 hour. So I think they did after they read the comments, just off camera
The reason her eyes were black: her and 4 other girls are like "angles" or like "Elfs" and when there eyes were black she was using her powers, if you want a better explanation watch the flim K-12
Y'all should definitely watch and listen to her song Play Date, which was released it 2015 but due to it's recent popularity Melanie had made a lyric video for it and a music video for it is in the works!
I am in no way trying to give hate, I like watching people who are reacting to my favorite artist! I guess you can sort of say this is constructive criticism? but I want to kind of explain everything because it is hard to listen or watch one of her music videos and judge it since there is a whole plot/story line. If you don't want spoilers I suggest not reading the rest of my comment but all I want to say if you want to get her story, listen to her first album, Crybaby, then watch her movie, then listen to her whole album K-12 and make sure it is all in order, the songs are in order from her first song, to her last song. (you don't have to include Copycat though, that doesn't really apply to the story.) To start, Melanie has this character named crybaby that she is acting out in almost all of her songs. She has another album which would have been easier to listen to first because everything would make more sense. But some songs in her album "crybaby" really explain and affect her newer album, K-12. Her first album more talks about crybabys past. A song in her first album called dollhouse talks about her crybabys family and how they are just setting an image that in reality, is crumbling apart. Some songs connect to each other, Tag You're It and Milk And Cookies you have to listen to back to back to understand the full idea. There is so much to explain and so many songs to understand, it seems hard to grasp the concept but I promise, listen to all her Crybaby songs in order, listen to every word. Then watch the movie and then listen to her songs again. In her film there will be a lot not to understand. For example there are going to be many bunnies popping up, more specifically, doctors, and they are something about melanies, not crybabys, past. If you'd like I can say what the represent or just search it up, either or will work. now the eyes. does eyes represent melanies power, which consists of many things, but mainly telekinesis. You can search all of her powers if you'd like, it won't be hard to find. But she is immortal, alongside her friends she makes in her journey of K-12. That is mainly all I wanted to say, and I don't mean it as in a rude way or anything, I just want people to understand what melanie is doing with her music. She is creating a story. This is a really big reason why people stop listening to her, because the words and metaphors confuse people and they don't want to put so much effort into listening a story, but it is worth it, I promise. So take my advice and I am hoping that you will become a crybaby (her fandom name) as well :>
Y'all should react to the whole movie, it'll make sense
