Well he said that although my insurance covers bottom surgery.. that I should choose wisely because they won't pay for it twice.. so if I get meta and am not happy with the size ( I guess this has been a common thing he has dealt with ) that I would have a hell of a time getting insurance to pay for phallo. Also he said it depends on what is important to you.. standing to pee, penetration.. etc. He said sensation with Meta is great but as far as penetration goes.. it wouldn't be entirely possible and that is something that would be important to me.

I thought about it, but I am not fond of the size of the phallo coming from ALT. It just seems a bit.. large. I might discuss it more with the doc though!
losing part of my arm or having such a big scar (on top of complications) is keeping me from ever getting bottom surgery. phallo is what i'd get without question, everyone wants a big one lol. hopefully one day there will be a different way
Yea seriously. Ugh. The scar is what makes me lean towards metoidioplasty more. Especially since it would have to come from my right arm.. and I am right handed.
left arm I have a tattoo that. So I don't really want that on my dick.. lol thigh.. I am not really fond of the size that taking from the thigh produces.
+Cody_talks i saw a video of a guy that went to serbia to get his phallo done. they stretched the skin from the side of his torso and used that as the donor site

have you thought about doing ALT since you have concerns about using your arm for the graft?

That is called the MLD - And it has a motor nerve and not sensory- so the erotic sensation is not as good.

Thankfully yes! I have a max out of pocket fee of $2000 however, but that is nothing compared to the $100,000 the surgery costs.
