It wasnt pretty but we won. Crawley had one purpose and that was to do everything they could to stop us no matter the tactics. We are going to get games like that but as long as we win then it doesnt matter.

What was the point in having Hansson on the bench over yoko and not even giving him 5 mins... then brings on Harris. Another game where Willumson just lets the game pass him by. He wont fit in in the championship. Bails out of every headed duel despite his height. Paik and Iwata solid but do nothing with the ball. Again. Alfie May, the leagues season after season top goalscorer, been turned into a striker that doesn't even have a shot by the Davies set up. No plan B evident apart from.. Bring on dykes... Harder teams to go to away from home. Only positive was that they didn't have a sniff on goal. But you'd expect that with 7 defensive players on the pitch. But.. what a 1-0 victory and top!!
We're better than last season in every aspect ...possession, passion, goals ,defence and most importantly, togetherness. Can some players upgrade yes of course but at this level, there all more than good enough that's a convo for next season.
thought we just hoofed the ball too much until the 2nd half where we managed to knock the ball around a bit better. Should have been 0-2 if dykes had some desire to stretch his leg out on the back post for that opportunity. Anyway 3 points in the bag and top for xmas, cant complain too much.
