Airline pilots speed up to cut flight time! We can go faster, get better winds and get short cuts.

- Winds can be better at different altitudes to get a more favorable tail wind.
We can speed up faster than the planned in route speed.
We can also get shortcuts in the air if the planned route wasn’t as direct as we’d like. - Розваги
Joey, im a pilot doing my instrument training and your videos are very helpful and also help to understand what to expect when i were to work for an airline! Thank you for the videos you post!
You make my day and your my favorite I’m becoming a airline pilot
Love your videos
Thank you, this was very informative. ❤😊
I like the overlay!
Great video...I love this!! I like how you did the overlay to that other guy's rant hahaha. You forgot to mention that you don't want to fly too fast and get there too early, because then you could sit on the ground waiting for your gate to become available.
Great info💯💯💯
Hey, since your pilot, do you have to have a special passport or just one in general? Would you be able to fly without one?
Still can’t make up 3 hrs unless the block is more
Joey every time I see your beard you kinda remind me of Jake Paul
God bless you all.
Hey I just leave it to the experts and trained professionals to make those decisions :)
so do you fly private planes also? or does your licensure require only commercial? Can you do "weekend jaunts" to the Caribbean for a private?
You need a type rating for each aircraft most pilots can fly single engine prop planes but private jets require a type rating
@@joshc9190 oh ok. but this dude flies large commercial jets so I guess if there's a limit of some kind, it's by employer
Hey, just out of curiosity do you have a diploma or degree?, I’m currently studying engineering but it’s so boring I already have my PPL. Do you think I can just leave and do CPL and all my ratings and still work at a major airline. Will it hold me back if I don’t get at least a diploma in aviation or something?
If you are actually an engineering student you should probably be able to figure out the answers to these questions yourself without asking some UA-cam celeb, if not then being a pilot probably isn't for you
@@climbmaintain hahaha true enough
Joey , who is this guy in the video ?
Some dude who thinks he's an airline pilot....with a beard?!
❤❤❤
Manchester EGCC to Dublin EIDW - A321 - FL25, cruise barely 5 mins and then start down for Dublin - why fly so high in the first place?
to save fuel
Love the beard. Hot
Teleportation!!
Oh! Don't ask Joey. He doesn't make the decisions about flying faster or the route, the CAPTAIN does. He's just an First Officer. Frontier allows beards????!!?
Looks so unprofessional.
the captain doesn't decide the route, the dispatcher does. The pilot flying decides how fast they want to fly. Cool story though
