The fight in Superstar Ultra is indeed the last time Dedede fights us willingly in a mainline game. He is either controlled by someone else, or we are fighting someone similar to him, every single time after that fight.
@@Matthew-g1t Both Dedede and Metaknight have the mind-controlling masks, and my guess is that the effect has started a while already, since neither would normally look for help in a direct fight against Kirby
@Jeekc nah bro, in Kirby Fighters 2 Dedede and Mata Knight wanted to defeat Kirby to finally defeat their common rival and at no time are they controlled by the Marsks
You're right! He loses, learns, gets stronger, and tries again. Over and over, going toe-to-toe with a being on the level of gods. Is it respect for the king's persistence that leads Kirby to keep him around when he destroys far greater threats without hesitation? Is it mockery? Or perhaps... Does he see potential in Dedede to become a true equal? The penguin successfully trained himself to copy Kirby's Inhale ability, after all. Who knows what else he's capable of? And it is lonely at the top of the mountain...
Infinity points for including The King and the Sun at the end there, I feel like people _seriously_ sleep on how important that scene is. Because as iconic as the clash in the electric cage is, it pales in comparison to the self-proclaimed king walking off into the sunset, not nearly as alone as he had believed. For when the sun rises again, it will be on a Dedede who strives to be worthy of his crown. No longer simply self-proclaimed, but a _self-made king._ And most of all… The sun will rise on a friend.
I'd say that the title is fairly accurate but instead of it being a final stand, i'd say it would be a final challenge of sorts. A true end to the rivalry of Kirby and King Dedede. Think about it: After so long, Kirby has finally taken the mantle of not only Popstar's defender but the Savior of the Stars. And while Kirby has a long life ahead of him to fufill his duty, all kings eventually have to pass the torch. And so, before Dedede does, he invites Kirby back to his castle the same way he did back in Revenge of the King, a gauntlet of Dedede's strongest warriors before he steps into the ring with the king himself. Every skill Dedede has possessed throughout all the games will be thrown out in this last hurrah. From the very first bout on the Gameboy to whatever games will be dropped even further in the future, Dedede will be throwing all those skills out to FINALLY best his rival, no, his friend. Before Kirby would not stand a gluttonous tyrant, or a jealous self-made monarch. After everything Dedede has done through the many, many journeys. It's safe to say that this is a new Dedede. And it would be reflected on his battle title. *King Dedede, the King of Dreamland.*
The ending could also reflect this. In contrast to the original ending of Revenge of the King, he’s walking back towards the castle with tired yet happy smile on his face. Of course, the waddle dees join him, but also some of the other friends he’s made, like Taranza, Adeliene, Magalor, Elfilin (if they’re around), some other friends he’s made in future games, and Kirby, coming to follow him in his warp star to check on him, showing the bonds he’s created since his origins on the Gameboy.
The composer knows every block animation for every Kirby game... I feel like if I don't like and subscribe I will wake up to a hammer in my face. (OP this mix is 12/10 nuts please never quit mixing and mastering)
I been trying to refind a Dedede remix/medley/amv that was bunch of music associated with him (even had part of the dedede bustle/ bouse items in it) and for some reason in last third it just a still image of masked dedede that get injured it also had Don Quijote spamming Gordos but this is a good substitute

He's better than Bowser because he has character development, new and fantastic forms, a cool hammer, plus he's goofy and cartoonish but also serious and strong at the same time. He's better in every aspect.
Yes this was indeed made in GarageBand! Because I’m still using my dinky little IPad for composing, I’ve grown accustomed to stuff like Bandlab and the Soundfonts extension for GarageBand. But GarageBand is still the main software I use when it comes to composing.

Yea
Most definitely.
Other than being a villan (wich is even debatable), Dedede is the better person. He truly fought and earned his redemption arc.
