Solution: If a Sim tends to a baby, transfer that baby to their household and a 1000 simoleons to Janine. Repeat as needed.

FUN PLAYTHROUGH IDEA: Give Janine a cloning device. Have her systematically replace all the townies in a New Save. "Janine conquers the World (or just San Muyshuno or something)"
That's fun! but for the best effect they need to wear the same outfit as the townie they replaced so you can still kinda guess who it was.

This entire video has inspired me to make a mod where I can alter the baby object files to make them sellable on retail venues.
update: Turns out babies stop aging or crash the game as soon as they're listed for sale or bought by another family - so either they're just rebellious like that, or I'm really dumb but the good news is they are objects that can be sold so that's confirmed. the bad news is that it WRECKS the game so I'm gonna need to rework most everything that makes up the baby "object" if that's possible

I read a horror series with the exact same plot. Pollution wiped out a towns fertility so they started a baby farm to provide kids to the townsfolk so they wouldn’t sue.

I've read a similar series. But it was a virus not pollution. All the orphaned girls were put into boarding schools where their health was closely monitored and they are basically brainwashed into not trusting men or love and fearing everything outside the gates. When they graduate they are sent to the baby making buildings where they are forced to have multiple pregnancies back to back and then their babies are removed and sold at birth. The orphaned boys were sent to labor camps to provide food and resources needed to rebuild the cities.
In the series one girl finds out and escapes.
The series is called Eve by Anna Carey
that description fits the handmaid's tale, if you wanna be depressed

A friend (who happened to be Mormon) invited me to a concert/performance at her church. Everyone was so nice. It was really lovely. But I wondered if they were trying to recruit me...Didn't dare ask outright. Still wondering.🤔
@@jadedmage1375 I've lived in Utah for a long time now and one of the first things that happened when we got here was a Mormon family who was friends of ours took us to see the Temple tour in Salt Lake City. The dad at least was ABSOFREAKINGLUTELY trying to recruit us; I just found it (a) educational and (b) a pretty building.
Also the Christmas lights there are GORGEOUS; (or at least they used to be) would recommend. :)
@@jadedmage1375 They're taught from childhood to try to recruit by any means necessary. Once a child is able to string together sentences, they're taught a song about being exited to go on a mission.
Janine clearly used her experience from birthing babies on the farm and expanded on it. This is how great ideas are born! And also alien babies.

Shockingly, baby factories are very similar to the adoption system and how horrendous the literal baby market is!
SpiffingBrit has found a way to make money out of babies. Put the pregnant sims in the pool and don't let them get out. They can't die, because pregnant sims can't die. They can't get into labor, since they can't get out of the pool. So the game keeps spawning in the bassinets which you can sell for money :D

This might be incredibly niche, but honestly Jim Pickens and Janine would either be best friends or hated rivals.
I just envisioned a scenario where Jim gets fooled by Janine's flashy exterior and tries to seduce her for money. Janine, despite being a lesbian, is willing to go with it because she also thinks Jim is super rich and that he's just some old man she can make disappear discreetly. They have a moment of trying to exploit each other, then Jim moves in with Janine and realises she's actually completely broke and lives in a crack house, so he takes over the crack house and builds a basement just to trap her in. Or he decides that he appreciates someone who can pull those kinds of things off and...yeah, still traps her in a basement. But with a level of respect to it, you know?
