⇢ Welcome to our UA-cam channel. We are Leigh and Nick, a married couple from the UK (Technically we are civil partner shipped but hey it's close enough)
Due to a health scare in 2017, we decided to start enjoying life more outside our business. We bought a Lodge on the east coast of England and started vlogging our daily adventures
Join us as we explore the UK, Florida, Disney and further afield aswell as spending time at the Lodge on our own, with family and with our friends

Hi guys .Your mum Gail looked really good . so glad .I have had breast cancer and had chemo and radiotherapy plus surgery …. it wasent easy .But keeping positive and having good support around you and love and prayers are so good for you .6 years later I’m cancer free.Love to your mum and I will keep her in my prayers xo

In the olden days (🤣🤣🤣) you used to be able to buy rolls of thin foam that was sticky on one side that you would stick inside the frame and then shut the window. Back then used to be called draught excluder. Here in the US it is still available but called weather stripping. We lived in Winnipeg, Canada for a few years and in the winter we had magnetic storm windows (made of acrylic) that temporarily turned the double glazing into triple just for winter. Heartening to see your Mum enjoying a beer - sending hugs and ❤️❤️❤️

Treacle tart in winter warm with custard or cold in summer with icecream - delicious. Keep snacking but in moderation , given everything you have to cope with do what makes you happy- everyday is best xx sending my love
If the snacks are there it's hard work to resist over Christmas I had a lovely tan from the fridge light. 👍🏴
I've got to say guys, I always love your vlogmas but this year with it being out of sync, I've enjoyed it even more, I'm loving getting excited for Christmas all over again even though we've just had it 😂. Really loving it, love you guys xxx

Whatever that vehicle is that you guys saw go past you, I have seen that in Malvern. Have you two visited Malvern before? I think you would like the walks on the hills , the pubs ,coffee shops and they have a nice spa in Malvern. Also the Morgan car museum . You should visit =)

Try Farmer Copleys farm shop & cafe at Featherstone, it’s so much better than Blacker Hall. We go every couple of weeks for gorgeous goodies 🤤🤤😍
Hi Leigh & Nick in this vlogg you was in Wakefield where we used to live and you went to Thornes Park where I went to school at Thornes House School. We now live in Barnsley Royston. In previous vloggs you’ve been shopping in Barnsley.

The first time I ever remember encountering the word treacle was reading “Alice in Wonderland“ as a kid. It comes up in the Mad Hatter’s tea party, in the story told by the Dormouse, and when I read it I had no idea what treacle was. And now, almost 60 years later, I still have never tasted it, though I know it’s somewhere between molasses and golden syrup (which I think is actually called light treacle). I have the distinct feeling that I would like it if I ever got to taste a treacle tart.

Nick is correct, dont bring the junk food into the house, your brain knows its there and will constantly want it. When you work from home the desire to get into the frig gets even worse!

Nick if you’re mom is having a hard time with the chemo see if you can get some pot for her it helps with the side effects of chemo and help her to eat
she's not been able to have it for over 6 weeks now, her oncologist has told her not to take CBD products while on active treatment

I agree with nick on the snacks. I can't have them in the house, too much temptation for me. I have no will power, so I don't buy them
Is it normal to be able to completely renovate your apartment in the UK? In the US you typically can't touch anything and when you leave you have to put it back as it was when you leave.
yes the apartment is ours to do with as we please it's not rented we own it xx

Life is never straight forward when you’re looking after someone having cancer. It changes day by day. You just go with the flow and adapt. I said I have a very steep learning curve. Thinking of you all now and in the months to come xxxxxx
