    HI Taylor, I can't wait to see the veggie garden once it's finished.
    Watch that mint, it will find it's way out of the pots and can become invasive.
    Beautiful cats.
    Stay safe
    all the best

      steve's growing space hey Steve! Hope you are doing well.
      Yes definitely will keep an eye on the mint. It’s great to have in the garden, but can take over so easy!
      Thank you for watching! 💜🤗

      Terry King's Allotment Gardening On A Budget Thank you 🤗💜. Greatly appreciated. I usually wouldn’t mind with hauling all of the rocks, and doing all of the tough stuff, but I am currently 6 months pregnant so things are getting a little more difficult around here 😂. I’m still motivated to get outside, and work on my garden/landscaping though. Husband/family are going to help out with the rocks at least! Have a wonderful day! 💕

    The gardens look great. We have talked about using burlap instead of row cover. I like the bio nature of the burlap.

    Nice job! You mentioned not having any pest problems. We had deer devastate our "all you can eat hosta buffet" last year, despite copious spraying with Deer Skydd. Any suggestions?

    • @MichiganGardenGal
      @MichiganGardenGal  4 роки тому

      Don Joyce Thank you! Well I have an owl propped up back there just in case I do have any issues.
      The obvious suggestion is to put deer resistant plants in your landscaping. BUT if you still want to have all of the plants you love one of our family member actually uses an interesting product. She orders wolf urine pellets off of amazon. She sprinkles that all around her landscaping, and the deer/other animals do not touch her plants! She reapplies when needed, but she swears by it.
      Their is also sprays you can buy from the store that you spray in your garden to keep deer and rabbits away.
      I hope this helps a little! 💜💜💜

      @@MichiganGardenGal Well, I ended up ordering some coyote urine (apparently better for repelling deer), and I give you a shout out in my unboxing: ua-cam.com/video/aMNYlAk-UQw/v-deo.html

    I just snipped off a seed pod from my rhubarb. The stalls and leaves are only 4 inches high. Is anyone else having premature seeding??

    • @MichiganGardenGal
      @MichiganGardenGal  4 роки тому

      Lora Shampine That’s really odd! I’d say if you do not see anymore progress in a week or so to start over just to have a back up.
      Happy Gardening!
