Thanks for putting these on here. I grew up in Harker Heights and every Sat night my brother and I were glued in front of the KTVT ch 11. Saw so many WCCW live events and they were all great. I really miss this old school wrestling. Today's wrestling is no where near close to this. GREAT VIDEO'S !! Thank You again.
Wow, I remember seeing some of this stuff on ESPN so this brings back memories alright. Anyone else see some similairities between Embry's run and angle here vs. Akbar and Stone Cold vs. McMahon during the attitude era? He wants back in, even as a ref, and he goes to extra measures in order to get it. I guess I was too young to approciate how awesome this Embry was here.
those were the days. i looked forward to sat nights as a pre teen and teen. i remember this feud so well. i miss the days when wrestling was good, so many great names gone, gone too soon. old ktvt ch 11 was one of the best channels back in the day.. i loved the monday night wwf / nitro ratings wars too back in my younger days.
eric embry....the last hero of a dying franchise....he stuck with them to the very end. and so did i. right to the very last broadcast

I love how HH went with the British accent, like Rockwell
This is what wrestling is supposed to be like. I remember watching this back in the day. Look how young Mick Foley is.
Nice "bullshit" chant. You didn't see things like that all that often back in 1989
AlbanianMan gotta love the Workd Class Crowd
Aaahhhlol!!! That pile driver to Harold sent him flying
3:35 Not quite 45-50 minutes away. Embry actually lived in the Sportatorium at this time.
Mankind is hitting Uncle Paul
That's how you take care of business... you don't want go along with with Embry you pay the price.
This was a well done angle
I always wondered what happened to embry apparently an auto accident ended his career
Embry booked this to perfection!
harold harris was drunk and fell down lol that was great
Eric Embry was way over during this angle. He was more over than the Von Erichs at this time.
I remember when Kerry Von Erich knocked the hell out of referee Harold Harris.
Tbh, I had to come back and watch all these classic gems. I cant really stomach the mordern day wrestling now. The storytelling is more believable.
Percy got his ass kicked for Embry, the east y'all can do is send a letter...y'know?

The original YES movement
is it me or does Dean Ambrose remind you of a modern day Eric Embry. Same hair style same interview style and wrestling style.
Dean Ambrose couldn't lace Eric's boots
He might sniff them tho
@@popeyedoyle6360 especially if they had blood on them
Just a sidenote - the Championship Sports broadcast on Channel 11 were far superior.
I always liked Mark Lawrence. Too bad he never made it to WWE or WCW.
You have zero taste.
