Question. Does that bike have a factory lowered suspension? I’ve sat on a 1250 gs before and they are much taller than this bike. That thing sits as low as my 800st.

go ahead, blow that wooden beam right through your oil pan. no you cannot do that on a harley, if it's not extensively modified. some dirt trackers might be able to, but defo not your run of the mill electra glide rolling road block...
@@manuelmanix1 If only BMWs bike would hold up as long as people think. Those times are long gone. Overpriced, much to heavy for actual offroading (theres a reason Dakar bikes are around 450cc and definitely under 250kg ;) ) and the design screams: "I want to be different"(I understand of course, beauty lays in the eye of the beholder). And the quality of the bikes is quite low for the bucks. Plastic tank covers, electronics arent as reliable as in japanese made bikes etc. I admire the ride quality, the great engine, the awesome sound, but i still dont understand why BMW is sold so much. Sadly, most of this applies to KTM, even if the older KTM Adventure (like the 990 or the 640 Adventure) were a lot more capable offroad. Still, everybody buy what you want, but dont tell me BMW is so reliable.
@@voxmortis5636 KTM Adventure (1290 or even 990 and 950) is better than BMW GS (1250, 1200, 1150) when you want to have a lot of offroad fun. These bikes are so much different. When you are buying BMW its mean you are probably older than KTM rider. You need to spend much more money for a bike. You want to have comfortable, balanced, predictable bike. KTM is crazy, agressive and fast. My friend had a lot of problems with KTM990 Adventure (leaky water pump problem and ticking timing tensioner). My other friend have no problems with his 1200 gs. But still these are a different bikes for different people. If you ask me BMW or KTM?My answer: KTM definitely. Sorry for my english. ps. the best bike for me: Honda CB1300:D Greetings
