Another great video thanks guys! We used GoBoat for a family birthday last month and I can say that it was a lot of fun. But a word of warning, they are the slowest boats that we have ever been on and for our 2 hour hire period we only made it about half way to the Powerhouse. Admittedly we were a group of 8 adults so that may have made a difference but our highest speed was around 2 knots, slower than walking speed. But it was a great experience and like you we can highly recommend it.
hahahahah that's so true! They're very slow and you just kinda put along - the risk of crash is minimal hahaha I imagine it would be very slow going packed with 8 adults too. So glad you still enjoyed it! Definitely something different to do, huh! Thanks for watching, Mark. Have a great week. P xx
Mark - you will be pleased to know we've just completed an upgrade on all our Breakfast Creek boats so they travel approx 50% faster! Especially useful when against the tide (the boats previously ran about 4 knots in a slack current). They'll never set speed records, but you'll get a lot further now in your two hour booking :)
Hi guys. It goes both ways. Your videos were a ray of light when things were a bit more grim. They became a Sunday morning tradition for us along with coffee and a bacon sandwich. Brisbane looks amazing by the way!

Love the Captain's outfit. This is a much better way than taking the CityCat as we did. New Farm Park was gorgeous, especially that tree. Gotta miss my Aussie trip, this brings me so much flashbacks 🥺. Let's hope Australia opens up again for tourists in 2022. How does it feel to be eating seafood again? Japanese AND Mexican at the same time? Those combination of flavours would be indescribably delicious 🤤. I love spicy food too, but currently dealing with the FODMaP diet, so for now easing with food, and go with trial and error to see what is causing my bowels to be upset, apart from stress. It's definitely true that your community is here for you, at least that's the case for me personally. You have always been here for me, so I will always come back to see you guys. Yes!! Way better than the City Cat, right? You can take your time, stop at spots if you want to and no other people - so cool! Oh no, I'm so sorry your tummy has been giving you grief. I went through the same thing for many years, Felix. It's terrible. It's how I ended up fully plant based. Feels good to be eating seafood again but I gotta take it slow, if I eat too much I get sick. Tummy trouble is a difficult one to work through, that's for sure. Oh my gosh - okay, that is the most amazing itinerary. I am SO happy you're going to Longreach, it's the heart of country Queensland. The best way to experience it is to find ways to connect with the locals, so I hope you're able to do that. We really loved Smithy's Outback dinner and show - it was so much fun and so uniquely Queensland. Congrats on pulling together such an EPIC itinerary, you've honestly nailed it!!

It's changed so much since there 3yrs ago! I don't think the GoBoat existed; maybe; it was there and because was only passing through to go elsewhere I never noticed. Hoping to revisit in 2023. I'm wanted in Tasmania for a long weekend; but; a friend from there has just sent over 10 pictures of her adventures this month in the hills, in the snow! Yuck!!! Bring me sunshine, it's winter here, and are sick of hearing the whistling wind, rain and in general stormy weather. No power last night; so; are catching up before going to work; oh to be in Australia; and my working day to be finished :) .

Im from BKK Thailand I know you have been here a few times I am just curious to know hows the heat there compared to here?
Hello!! Oh gosh, I find it much harder to deal with the heat in Bangkok. It's an incredible amount of humidity and then the bite from the sun is really intense. I love the heat and I love Bangkok but, wow, it's really hot there haha I very quickly learned to carry an umbrella with me at all times and have a little fan and drink LOTS of water!
@@travelforphoebe Personally I used to study in Melbourne for 7 yrs before going back home I supposed the heat there shouldnt be much worse than Melbourne we should be able to take it easily LOL, anyway Brisbane is on my checklist It's gonna one of a few destinations for me and my family will have to visit right after the pandemic.
I've been sitting on my work visa literally weeks into the covid pandemic. Brisbane was my starting point. This video makes me sad, open your borders soon so I can finally come work hahah!!!
