I forgot to ask: When you were retrieving this extraordinary glide bait, did you keep your rod tip low most of the time? I see quite a few people retriever wakebaits and glide baits with their rod tips highter than, say, 45 degrees but I've never had any success doing that. Just curious . . .
Because of the current I had to hold my rod tip down when casting downstream, and up while fishing upstream, and then a mix when I fished across current.
Take each section separately and place the weight at each end so the piece, or as close to the end as you feasible can....make sure when you are figuring out the weight you have all hardware, pins, snap rings, hooks etc on the lure..so that when you are finished you don’t have an imbalance....you can watch my video titled “How to weight a swimbait”...it apples to glides,👍😁
Another McCollister lure with PERFECT swimming action. I don't think there's a big striped bass on the planet that could resist this.
Thank you Chris!
The only clear water to test in had current...but it gives those river fishing a chance to see it in mild current!
That looks fantastic Todd!
Thank you
Another masterpiece! Looks great.
Thank you Joe!

How do you weight a glide should I put the weight towards opposite ends or closer to the joint
