You're a good sport bro dealing with the vendors 😂. I like your English subtitles also. I'm currently on my learning journey of the Vietnamese language. You got a new subscriber

It is not the same in America, everything has the price tags on the items, no bargain, buy it if one likes, no bargain at all, and allow to return if not liking after buying it, no question ask.

This place seems like a tourist trap. I don't see any locals shopping here. Prices are marked so high even at 50% discount, they're still high. Since you can speak the language fluently show us what the locals were paying in the next video.

I mean at a different market where only the locals shop. I'm Vietnamese btw living in LA, I can tell they're ripping you off.

At this market everything is 5 times the normal price….even if you can bring the price 3 times down, it’s still a ripoff 😂

The North Face fake backpack can get for 500k VND at Saigon Square🤣. The shorts can get for 100k vnd, the Tshirt 100k vnd. For the black Nike socks, can get from Russian Market cheaply for just 10-20k vnd each pair

I think it's becasue they know even at thiose ridiculous prices that it wouldn't be a hardship for a tourist. Because to them all tourists have literally money to burn, relatively speaking that is.

Kiki is there a better price to buy and prevent such a high markup. Doesn't makes sense to buy thru such means of bargaining

To be fair, it is a bargaining shopping area. Merchants have to raised their prices knowing people will bargained it down. In business, it is a fair trade if one is willing to pay the asking price of an item. In an auction, the value of an item depends on how much it was sold for. In the end, no one is forcing anybody to buy anything.

Yes, but the use of physical techniques such as grabbing the arm or moving in the way too make it hard to get away is a problem. Aggressive sales like this makes many foreigners very uncomfortable
