I have no idea how to answer the question of what our government should do in supporting the Ukraine in this war, and i tend to think of myself as an isolationist especially with everything that has happened in the last 20 years. There are those people around the world who have struggled under horrible oppression who even after a senseless war look to the US as a beacon of democracy. You can be right or left i dont care. I was in Hanoi and throughout vietnam earlier in the year and talked to a Vietnamese man at this lake, told him i was going out with a vietnamese girl, he said best to find a girl that doesnt live in a big city... Later on in my trip i found out that he was speaking the truth, many vietnamese girls in cities have become 'westernised' they act like western girls , want to look like western girls and spend money like western girls, honestly the rural areas are more 'authentic' the girl i was seeing had had plastic surgery, was going to have more, to reduce width of nose etc and was editing photos of herself on social media to look taller, more western. I had a few unedited photos of her and she honestly looked like a different person to her pics on social media....

As a woman, I can't help but think that some of these women come off as gold diggers. Expecting your husband to have an income of 8k AUD a month without contributing anything yourself is absurd-it sounds more like leeching! It seems like it's all about showing off wealth for public attention or to feel superior. You could live happily and comfortably on less, especially as someone with a wealthy Vietnamese husband, who also thinks this kind of spending is ridiculous and frivolous. I make just as much, and the thought of my partner's wallet never even crosses my mind-what matters is whether he's a good kind hearted person. In environments like this, men are often seen as just a resource by these types of women globally-used to make a profit, have children, take over the family, discard the man, and demand his money.
