Nice. I did the "rebuild" because I'm having trouble with my unit and you seem to be the only person with the same. About to hook things back up but the last time it did the same thing. Ran good for 5 min... Then killed like there was no fuel. Would not start back up for 30 to 40 min. Makes no since. Any other suggestions should the rebuild not work?
Awe, bummer for me. i took mine apart today and now the bulb won't prime so guessing I didn't put it back together right or something, arghhh! I didn't get the satisfaction of succeeding on this one!
Just a quick update. So... Putting the Carb back on I noticed, which I thought I had checked before, that the cut off wires at least one of them was in fact melted. The copper was exposed. I'm thinking that the reason it kept cutting off is that the wire was actually shorting out causing the switch to close which would prevent the unit from starting. I'll know in the morning as its not 10:10p and the lady next door likes to call the police when I make lots of noise.
It was difficult to see exactly what you were doing and actually what the part was. The video showed you moving on to the next part. Difficult to follow, but I appreciate the effort and look forward to more. You obviously have the patience...
I ordered a rebuild kit for the wyc-7 through Amazon that shipped from HIPA (China). The gaskets I received seemed to be thinner than yours... in any event the kit did not solve my issue and now there seems to be no gas getting through the carb. In addition to that I stripped two of the four screws holding the metering cover on. :( In any event here is a link to a decent diagram of the assembly that may help your viewers. wem.walbro.com/walbro/product.asp?Series=WYC&partnum=WYC%2D7%2D1&GroupName=Trimmer&FamilyName=TOROI just ordered a new carburetor and that should solve my issue.
Very interested, but when you was working in the carburetor the only thing I can see was your hands. It's not good for people like me with poor experience in this issues .
Good try. Too bad the important parts were hands. Try filming above. My toro guy wants 50 to fix. Yeah we all have electro sonic cleaners. Good vid but can't see needed stuff. Gonna wing if I can rebuild a 780 Quadra jet I'll figure it out. Part number bs. Called Walbro. Waste of time
"And then, this" we can see squad, just back of your hand or nothing useful. Wanted see the gasket order, completely useless. And get rid of the damn wind chimes!
Jack - thanks for the video but most of it was about the back of your hand.
Bro!! You’re a hero! You saved me $100 power head. $6 bucks and your video. 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 thank you!!!
Great video of your hands. No idea what your hands are doing.
Thank you. This video helped me replace my broken carburetor.
Could be a good video if we could see the actual gasket placement instead of your hands.

I have that exact model, and had a gasket between the carb and engine that was not included in a ny kit. What did you do? VERY good video! Thank you.
I really needed this video. Good try but you blocked most of the important content.
Hi Jack....this was made in 2014! Any chance you got a new one up yet it's june 2017! Just checking before I pull mine apart?!
Heidi Lorenz Hey, I never got a new video because I sold mine, but If I had another one, I would gladly take another video.

good video need a little more close up when removing the carb ( for detail).
Thanks I am learning to take videos
Your hands. Your hands. Your hands.
you cant see anything cuz your hands are in the way
thanks...very helpful
What's the parts number for 51590 kit

Haha funny, that can happen but that means that wire has to touch metal, so check to see if its touching anything

Hey thanks it is kinda difficult to do videos with one person and run a business at my age but I hope to make many more videos of small engines
Y not put out each gasket in the order they go with a picture. Very frustrating looking at your hand , guessing which is which.

+Mark Niles the camera might've lied about the gasket size...lol

Good video but get rid of the chimes lol. Hilarious
zoom in a little closer, so that it can't focus at all.
Nice effort. Your hand is constantly blocking the view of what you are doing. Set the camera on the other side.
what is the liquid in the cleaner
Carburetor cleaner, not exactly sure what though
Your camera blocked 3/4 of the video. Move it ABOVE the carb.

No se ve como lo armas solo tus manos
Very por video cant see the gasket order. nor you can see what you are doing.
I'm pretty sure that you did a great rebuild, but your hand blocked most of the video😊
Couldn't see much. Camera wasn't in the right place
Your hand was in way
"And then, this" we can see squad, just back of your hand or nothing useful. Wanted see the gasket order, completely useless. And get rid of the damn wind chimes!
Horrible camera angles. 🙄🤦🏻♂️
Dud you need to put a transparent gasket in your hand, I couldn't see anything. Get somebody else to man the camera. Poorly done, sorry.
what a waste, all throughout the video your hand has to be hidden, it could have been video but, it is missing
Most of the time ,your hands are blocking the work. Sorry but not much help.
Would have been a good video but ended up being nearly a waste of time cant see much at all .
Informative But Video was Bad
Sorry about that if I get another in the shop I will do it again better
Nice vid of back of hand. 😠. Wasted my time.
