I'm always happy to see you and BJ take time off for your kids. These are days you'll never get back and never regret. One day your children will realize the sacrifices mom and dad made for them. I appreciate all farmers feeding our country and keeping America great! Thank you. ~Dave~
Thanks for the video Brian and family. Busy busy time trying to get corn harvested. You have a huge amount of downed corn. I don’t remember why other than I believe you had a bad storm go through your area and push the corn down. Never seen so much down corn. Really super hard to combine. That bin with that hard collection of beans will be hard to clean out. How did that happen????? Another project waiting for you. Guess about it for now. You all take care and be safe. The Iowa farm boy. Steve.
Another day another dollar, hope you guys have good electionday in youre country, will be a close one i understand, thanks and greetings from a Dutch dairyfarmer
Could you better explain the difference between the split type rent and by acre rent? Do the owners pay any of the inputs or do you end up fronting all the costs and they get a percentage of profit? Maybe give an example that better explains it.
Yah Brian! Explain all of that! Sorry….as a former farmer and land owner I understand there are as many options as there are wheels and tires for your new pickup…..
Split is on percentage. Farmer gets 75-80 percent landowner gets the rest. If it works as it should the landowner also pays for their 20-25 percent of costs. And rent is like you said, so much an acer.
Split renting is share crop farming with landowner also sharing input cost. Cash rent to the landowner gets them out of input costs and market price swings.
The Larsons have one of those yellow things on the #2 green machine. It seems to work faster. To be fair I think the head manufacturer installed theirs.
Can't believe how dry the ground is. We never had enough hard summer downpours to really settle the ground. Sure demands your attention keeping an eye on corn conditions and how it's feeding into the head. Lucky that poly spider on the corn reel didn't make it into the machine. Cherish the moments spent with Kayla by your side!!!
Of course McDonald’s is crying! They are full of the horse stuff Kayla was talking about. Hell they don’t even buy the best graded beef to begin with and that’s a fact. And why I won’t eat that stuff. But as a cattle producer? Packers make the money anyhow. With that said? This will be my best year ever selling cattle! Never seen them this high. But there’s a reason, herd numbers are down. It’s called supply and demand. Not no mamby pamby price gouging.

Brian doesn’t the fuel trailer have an air compressor? My thunking is mount more than one Milwaukee leaf blower Macgyver something just leave them on throttle lock so you don’t have to stop to blow off the head. Zip tie the trigger Maybe the company can send you a clamp 🗜️ to mount 3-d print something. longer blow snouts perhaps 🤔 attach on the hand rails so once it’s on their on. Have two going at once Get another blower but use the biggest battery you can get keep the head blown off all the time. The third keep in the cab for cab corn. 🌽
Why do I think none of the beef farmers saw any of the money paid instead I bet they took the brunt of any cuts to underpriced the competition and then will end up being the ones to foot the bill from any fines. At least that is how I believe it seemed to go with suppliers to mushroom businesses.
UA-cam, 2024 Crop Report - Box Elder No problemo with unloading small grains into a semi. Less grain fines with less augering and less packing of the ground back and forth to semis.
I notice most of you young guys have very little patience, have to get done fast or run the combine as fast as you can. I watch a lot of channels and the age group is similar with this issue. Thx for the videos!!
The whole purpose of having a large combine is to cover acres quicker. It’s not that I’m inpatient. It’s just that if we wanted to go slow, we should’ve saved our money and bought a smaller combine.
@ , I was born in the 50’s and got my ass beat for running equipment to fast. I see it around where I live, these guys do more in a day then we could do in a week or more
Why don't you have your reels down further when in the downed corn? (not a critique just curious). Ha I needed to watch for a few more seconds so I edited my comment.
Why are so many farmers parking equipment with out blowing them off before parking or during day. Record # of combine fires this year as reported by insurance companies Should be part of a routine
10:43 ummm the REEL REACTING SO SLOOOOLY... ummm my mind say'd ARE YOU SURE THE FLUIDS AIN'T SWITCHED TWEEN SPINNIN N MOOVIN? eh I usually lisin to my mind when it say'd stuffz ;) sumpin about the flo, low flo on wrong flo hole... lol hi flo on da udder1

Keep on rolling can’t get enough of that combine
Thanks for all you do in feeding our country! Great content....
Great video as always. The combine is a new color. It will be amazing when you wash the dirt off and it reappears as a new machine. 😊
Great job running the tractor and grain cart Brian
Always fun to watch your video Brian.
Great job running the combine Brian and Bob
Great job running the tractor and grain cart BJ
So…not only does Mrs. Brown have to keep the Browns in line and productive but her family too? She gets no rest! Lol
Enjoyed!! Border view got some cheap cameras for spreader wagon he likes a lot. One of those on unloading auger would help seeing in cart if needed
Thanks for the video Brian and family.

Nice to see Kayla riding shotgun with you in the combine.
Always a great watch and enjoyable videos.
Nice guest appearance by Kayla👍👍

Always good to see Kayla. Another good day of harvest. Stay safe!

Sure have been enjoying your harvest 2024 videos, actually I like any video you post! ❤️👍😎

Split is on percentage. Farmer gets 75-80 percent landowner gets the rest. If it works as it should the landowner also pays for their 20-25 percent of costs. And rent is like you said, so much an acer.
As landowner I’m paying 1/3 fertilizer and taking 1/3 of grain produced on my acreage. That’s the old standby.
Split renting is share crop farming with landowner also sharing input cost.
Cash rent to the landowner gets them out of input costs and market price swings.
We do 50/50 but landowners pay combine and trucking for there share
I really enjoy your Channel I like it because it's more like down home people anyhow it's all good I don't really ever miss it if I can help it
FYI…..I do love your guitar intro music!
Nice to see Kayla in the combine with u Brian
Good video! What is the yellow blade spinning thing on the corn header?
Hahaha fuel cap check love it
Great video Brian BJ Kayla and Bob
Enjoy seeing the harvest progress 🙏🏻🇺🇸🙏🏻
The Larsons have one of those yellow things on the #2 green machine. It seems to work faster. To be fair I think the head manufacturer installed theirs.
great video
Good video.
Thanks!
What is the silver ball on the armrest of the fendt header its got me stumped?
Was a iPad mount but we took it off for better visibility
Ah I see thanks for the reply Brian I was really scratching my head on that one
Good video

That yeller thingy tapping the corn heads looks like one useless thingy.
So when you get bored do you try and count the fingers on the corn reel at different speeds.

McDonalds doesn’t even use beef, lol. Garbage Bill Gates food. Check into who own the company they are suing, Blackrock.
It's never been the farmers doing the price gouging, we sell wholesale and buy retail from the price gougers.

I don’t know how to explain that
We are in south central Georgia and no rain in October. It's November 5th and supposed to rain tomorrow for a few days.
We got 1.2 in September and .45 in October, enough to settle the dust for a day. (WC IN) November starting off wet, over .5 so far.
👍👍
14:29 that shot is just devastating.
Gettin' to a the short rows now!!! Keep safe and don't hurry.
Is the ladder 🪜 always down to the engine? 850 mark in video.
Would be nice if the spout from the combine could bend down closer to the truck/ cart.
👍
You aren’t kidding on the drought. We might want to invest in some camels if it keeps this up!
I’m looking forward to some D8 dozer time with Mr. Brown.

Cargill's slogan is if we don't make the product are product is in it.
Like the video Brian and keep on farming man .
Ideal does offer a blower kit for the feeder house

McD’s should be happy with bean prices since most of their burgers are soy filler!
Mornin
Thank you
Thanks
Father in law and uncle in law? Keep them busy!
We are back here again. Mornin Brown family.😊
Just had sprouts for luch 😅

No problemo with unloading small grains into a semi.

Look at Ohio tonight 😊
The faster the reel moves the more you break on it. Just from my experience with them.
Kayla must be a city girl
Grew up on a farm
Thanks for the video.
Evening
The combine lights seem pretty lack luster 🤷♂️
My opinion as well

Rotten grain is a wonderful smell, yuk.
Walking papers? Firing the in-laws…sounds like trouble!! Lol
That was BJ fault on the head being slow and breaking. He is trying to slow you and dad down
Merno or brown 🤣

Howdy! Stay safe. Nice Spout
Not that it's important but dating the videos would be helpful
I guess the videos would appreciate a coffee date during editing.

If you read the ingredients McDonald's doesn't sell actual hamburger it's hamburger flavored mostly chicken
You have not idea about dry land farming. If we get 12 inches in a year we are jumping for joy.
Our operation is built for 40” of rain so the 9” we have had since May is rough for us
Good video
Thanks
