Another great video. So Manure and 10-10-10 is mainly what you use on the bananas?
I see there is a lot of palms behind you what species are those and do you grow Pindo fruit?

@@TheFrugalHugelGardener I see I need to see more of your videos. I usually use worm castings, fish emulsion, kelp, and another seaweed extract on my bananas. While I also use some regular NPK synthetics like triple 17 as well. I don’t think Synthetics are bad as long as you add some organic matter with it. Also use bloodmeal, bonemeal, fishmeal, dried kelp and alfalfa on them. Probably overkill but it’s fun either way

The best thing I use is Manure.

One thing you might note about fowl waste is that cities require a lime application every 48 hours in the coop & run or it's a health violation. I'm not in the city but my acidic soil would love the lime.
This year was an amazing year for my Blue-Java, the leaves are huge but I only had 18 leaves this year so no flowers.
Ya I want my floodplain admin fined by FEMA for violating NFIP for not having arrows on the OSSF site plans to direct surface water. Properties with an OSSF on less than 2% slope are required to have comprehensive-drainage-plans but in my county they're all ponds.

Hey Slacker. I use barn lime every time I clean out my coop, (Tractor Supply) and also between cleanings. keeps the smell and fly's away. good luck with your Blue Java. all mine bud in five months, and harvest within a year. use manure in your beds and that will help them grow and produce faster as shown in all my prepping the beds and planting videos

@@TheFrugalHugelGardener I have half a dozen in full sun now. I was weekly feeding MG mix in 100 gallon batches but those yard-pumps don't last long & I don't want to buy a new one. I'm searching for a chemical-pump with a similar GPM & price so I can get more than a year or two of use.
