Yes was thinking same thing. But KEEP fairy dog Moms ramp right where you have it. Been watching him with the outside steps. No real problem getting down, it’s coming back up, Try a smaller version of the ramp for that.
Yes, I have suggested Jamie also using a particle board ramp cut wide enough for Sherpa's safety, and cover it with a dollar store latex shelf liner wrapped around the board to make it non-slippery (also, removeable & washable). That's what I use... Cheap, cheerful and effective. ☺
Finally a ramp for senior Sherpa! Couldn’t that ramp be used to help Sherpa into the van as well? Steps are harder on arthritic joints than a gradual incline 💖💗
This was a very emotional moment for me, seeing Sherpa getting up and down the ramp. Last year we lost our sweet little boy named Arrak and seeing Sherpa struggle reminded me of the last few weeks he struggled with motion. I am so happy that Sherpa gets to do what he likes the most with his dad.

Fairy Dog Mother should be reclassified as a Saint! Not only a great gift, but a perfect gift for Sherpa. Glad it worked…you could really tell from your voice how much you’ve missed having Sherpa sitting on the seat behind you. Well done Fairy Dog Mother!!😇🥰
I smiled through the whole video. I love seeing Sherpa running around on his wander, as well as wanting you to throw the ball to him, he is like a puppy during those moments. Jamie, I think the ramp makes things so much easier, and he’s already got it figured out. I’m thinking maybe you should get another ramp for the entrance into the van. It’s seems easier for him than the stairs. He seems to hesitate with the stairs, with the ramp, he can walk right up into the van, then the other ramp to get up to the bed/couch so he can be close to you.
I'm so sooo happy for Sherpy ❤❤❤ for both of you. I can totally understand when you say you missed him up there. I'm sure he felt the same, but was struggling... Thank you, lady, who sent this amazing ramp to our sweetest old boy 💓💓💓💓💓

Take the sides off, but maybe stand beside Sherpa. My friend's Alaskan Malamute, Luna, had a ramp, I bought for her to get into my Jeep, as she loved to go to the NJ shore with us and swim on the Bay side, despite only 3 legs. That - was priceless when Sherpa jumped straight onto the seat (without using the ramp) !
Yey! What a happy video, Im so glad to see Sherpa's ''sup" is back again! Needing to use a ramp doesn't make you any less of anything, Sherpa. It's the fact you've been spreading love and friendship all over the world with dad that counts. Congrats! 🎉🎉
I love your accent Jamie... Completely random I know. When you called Sherpa an old fart I lost it ...😂😂😂. So happy this worked for Sherpy!!!!🐶🐶🥰🥰...I love how you love him
..and he's beyond adorable
Three cheers for Fairy Dog Mother! ❤😊
The ramp is such a thoughtful gift!
Wow that is fantastic, it's great to see Sherpa using the ramp and riding up with his Dad. The fairy dogmother has given you an amazing gift and it works.😊
He definitely needs another one to get in and out of the van. Glad that one made it easy for him to get on the seat. He's a good boy!
I love you in your cute rain coat ☺️ you are so cute Sherpa 💜
Excellent ramp for beautiful Sherpa. I think he’s so excited about it he’s got more energy. Lol
Great job Fairy 🧚♀️ GodMother. Everyone’s happy if Sherpa is happy 😃 🐾👣
What a wonderful Fairy Dog Mother! Great idea. So glad the ramp worked out for Sherpa.
Dear Fairy Dog Mother, Thank you very much for the ramp. You did Not only Do a favour to Jamie and Sherpa, I think you helped the whole community. Nobody has to feel the Pain from Sherpa anymore. If I could I would Give you a Gold Medaille for helping Sherpa And Jamie. Thank you very much... Xoxoxo
When you have senior Animals you learn so much about animal kingdom at large and your own self. How we must adapt to them and how they teach us to be kinder , softer and more patient. Thank you Sherpa ❤thank you my Fifi and to all the lovely lovely seniors furkids...
This is exactly what he needed! I like how he tried to make you give him a treat before he would use it. He is so smart.❤
Take the sides off, but maybe stand beside Sherpa. My friend's Alaskan Malamute, Luna, had a ramp, I bought for her to get into my Jeep, as she loved to go to the NJ shore with us and swim on the Bay side, despite only 3 legs. Luna lost her leg due to cancer, but she loved road trips with us! Luna is in Heaven now, but she's always in my heart. Love You, Sherpa, so much, as does all of us from the USA!
So sorry about your fur baby. She’s with Jesus now and waiting for you to join her in Heaven. My Golden Retriever is waiting for me. Miss her so much. They definitely leave their paw prints on our heart. God bless you my friend. Love from Tennessee.
This is certainly just as important to all of us as it is to Sherpa and Jamie. Thank you, fairy godmother!
Sherpa so cute with that pep in his step 🪜😎😎
Way to go fairy dog mommy she rules for helping our Lord Sherpa and daddy Jaime 💕💜
I'm so happy that Sherpa feels whole again!
Just great the ramp.
A huge joy that it works the way you imagined it.
It fits in perfectly with BigRed and Sherpa was immediately excited to use the ramp.
He's doing it like a pro and it's so nice to see how easily he can now get back upstairs to Dad.☺
The walk afterwards in the cute coat makes the day perfect.
A great stunning video
Have a great weekend💙👊
Fairy dogmother ❤ Seeing Sherpie use the ramp and sitting proud made me tear up 💕🐺❤ 🙏🏻for a successful home search xxx
Yes, I cried happy tears. Love Sherpa and Jamie so much. Wish I could afford to travel. I’d be on the next jet across the pond to see them, Granny, Nook, Key, Jodie, and Biscuit Lady. 🥰🐾
Proud of you Sherpa 😊
Thats an incredible gift and will certainly help Sherpa
Yay! That’s awesome. Glad for you and Sherpa, that will make his life a lot easier :).
