Hi there! Sky Lagoon offers shuttle pick-up from a number of stops all around the city for an additional fee. Here is their booking page which includes pick-up: www.skylagoon.com/transfer-all/ ~ You'll need to determine the closest pick-up location to your cruise terminal (be aware that there are multiple cruise terminals in Reykjavik). Another option is to book a transfer with Reykjavik Excursions: www.re.is/tour/sky-lagoon-transfer/?gclid=CjwKCAjw-b-kBhB-EiwA4fvKrJyAZ0yAImVsDuS2T6hJviJ7yTqIi9ptiG_B9hnqf3vKd1SO0JYJ5RoCuYIQAvD_BwE ~ Or, hire a taxi: www.hreyfill.is/en/
I, as a first timer back in June, took about 3 hours and was unrushed. I chose to hang out in the Lagoon for a while before starting the other steps, then took my time afterwards with a couple of drinks
I did this in August and really enjoyed it. I just have to say, however, the "seven step" marketing is a bit of a stretch, since steps 1, 2, and 7 are available to all the guests. So the higher tier to get the ritual should really be "Four Steps," not seven.
Just returned from Iceland. Watched most of your videos beforehand and I want to thank you. Thoroughly enjoyed Sky Lagoon and preferred it over the Blue Lagoon because from the pool you see only the ocean - no tall buildings or civilization. Even though it's smaller than the Blue Lagoon there were more places to "sit" - most of the rocks had submerged benches where your average height person could sit and still be chest-deep in water. I'm glad I took the "cold plunge" - it SUCKED but it was a rush and I felt great afterwards!
Hi there! Sky Lagoon has 3 different packages. You can view them here: www.skylagoon.com/ ~ In general, prices range from $55 to $110 USD depending on package and time of day.
We spent our last full day in Iceland at the Sky Lagoon. We did the seven step ritual and had a blast. It was the perfect way to end our trip after scuba diving for three days. I was surprised to see that beer was cheaper at the lagoon, than all of the bars in Reykjavik! Bonus!!!
I just went this past Friday and loved it. I splurged and brought the sky pass since it was my last day in Iceland. I must say that all of the more touristic thermal spas around Reykjavik can get congested. If you are willing to take a drive, then your reward will be less crowds minus some of the fancy amenities.
It was nice...went last month. Bar has a 3 drink limit. The scrubs and other products are not available online for purchase so buy there before you leave. The staff were really nice and it was very relaxing. Great work filming and compressing it all into a 6 minute video. Also, it seemed small to me. 60 people max before it would be too crowded.
I did both and they were each at full capacity. Sky Lagoon is smaller but was still less crowded than The Blue Lagoon. The Blue Lagoon was indeed blue and Sky Lagoon is black, but we appreciated the black motif since we visited the black sand beach! Sky is much newer, but late April 2022 Blue Lagoon underwent renovations so look out for someone's new videos!
@@Theo-mf3bd ok. They it will be nice if you name them I’m going there in July and first warning Got was it’s a very expensive country. Now with the inflation hitting us hard it would come in handy. :)
I'll be there in a month, so excited! You're so brave to enter the cold plunge like it doesn't bother you. Is there public transportation to get there from Reykjavik?
Yes they do ask that everyone wear a bathing suit though this rule has been tricky lately as to what that means and how to not discriminate between genders. Definitely good to know as this is not typical!
I went in July and loved it. Have to agree that the 7 step thing is not worth it. You feel rushed through the process like cattle in line to be milked. But the pool and the sauna are something!
That has to be a personal feeling because nobody was telling or even hinting to me (back in June) to move through the process. Go again and be cognizant of your thoughts while there. For ME, it was the most relaxing of all the lagoons I went to (aside from an isolated, private one). I especially loved the sauna and would pay for a Sauna/Lagoon option haha
@@leatherneckoif well, first the amount of product for example the salt.. it’s not like you can indulge.. besides when you have a line of people waiting behind you it’s as relaxing as when you’re trying to do a parallel parking on a busy road 😂
Just so you know, when you are talking again in the car (3:44), the music is completely covering your voice for a little bit. (Until about 4:20) ❤️
Thanks for confirming, I had computer issues and thought it was me.
I already know the Blue Lagoon! But I want to go to the Sky Lagoon, too! :)
I went to sky lagoon in September! I loved going in the cold pool and staying in the cold pool and goinf in there many times!
Already on my list for our next visit to Iceland. We did the Blue Lagoon back in July. Amazing place Iceland!
Sky Lagoon was PACKED!
Hi, how do I get to the sky lagoon from the Reykjavik cruise terminal thank you

I did this during my visit in August and it was incredible! I would definitely recommend coming here and will return on my next trip to Iceland.
Going next week with my husband!! 😁😁
How much time would you recommend as a first timer and not feeling rushed?

Yep
Agreed that returning to the pool after your steam shower was a "step" was cheeky, but overall I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.
Amazing experience and I will return one day. Iceland is truly beautiful.
Wow I need to go to this place! The seven step ritual seems so luxurious and that sauna view!!! 😮
Oh, it's incredible! The view alone from the sauna is worth everything 🤩
Can’t wait to visit!❤
Saw your post review among the traffic. Is the traffic really bad? That’s remind me of Bangkok

Why is it so empty 🤔 When I went there there were like so many people in September.
Is it good to visit by end December to beginning January?
How deep is the lagoon.? Cant swim hihi
Time to plan my 2nd trip to Iceland ❤️
We were there in June it was amazing!!
I hope that's a self-driving car! 😬😉
am assumin theres toilets there aswell??
Yep, full changing facilities, showers, lockers, toilets...
@@IcelandwithaViewthanks 👍👍
Yes there are 🙂 It's amazing
How much cost

I was there about 4 days after opening and it was simply fantastic!! So worth it after climbing to see volcano
I guess the skin will be pink after all these steps! Looks amazing, wonderful view from the sauna! 😃

Hi, just subscribed to your channel. We are going to Iceland in May and can't wait. The Sky Lagoon looks awesome. We will definitely be going there!
This looks wonderful!
There's nothing else like it in Iceland! The 7 Step Ritual is AHHHHMAZING!

Keep it up❤❤❤
Loved this, but the music in the car was so loud we could not hear your thoughts until the music stopped.
Icelanders make everything right and perfect (and those SAUCES, ha!)

The lagoon is beautiful 😍 But...the cafe & bar area not so much. It looks like a storage space area, flat and boring 🤷♀️
The real treat is the 7-step ritual! Thanks for watching!
Im so sad my trip almost gone and not see northern lights .. so tomorrow we going to sky lagoon to not feel so sad !!!
looks amazing
Was there a few weeks ago; it was amazing!!
How would you say this compares to the blue lagoon? If you were only going to pick one, which one would you do?

Credit card or just ordinary bank card? This always confuses me when non Europeans say credit card
It's not very common to use this daily.
I saw you last saturday at the Laugavegur! Hahah now back in Holland again :( Nice Lagoon but a bit overpriced in my opinion
Like everything in Iceland! :)
@@blankiki not exactly true, i've been to Iceland 15 times or more and there are still lots of affordable spots in Iceland :)

Watch out for robot dragons, especially if you’re on a date.
Allah Ho Akbar.. Indeed Allah Is A Best Creator ❤️
I think you'll find it was mother nature. Actually built by Icelanders.
We're going in July! Can you visit the restaurant for a bite before the scheduled lagoon time? I can't wait! Thanks for the awesome video.
I'll be there in a month, so excited! You're so brave to enter the cold plunge like it doesn't bother you. Is there public transportation to get there from Reykjavik?
Looks as if the closest you can get via Straeto is within 900m.
How was it?
I'm sorry, were you talking? I could barely hear you over the soundtrack! LOL!
سبحان الله جميل جدا
Jeannie, do you have a discount coupon code for a visit to the Sky Lagoon?
Can you turn the music a bit louder, I could almost hear you talk
i thought you were supposed to be naked in these places?
Yes they do ask that everyone wear a bathing suit though this rule has been tricky lately as to what that means and how to not discriminate between genders. Definitely good to know as this is not typical!
Great video. We will be visiting Reykjavik on a cruise this summer. How long should we allow for visiting Sky Lagoon to enjoy the whole process?
We were there for around 3 hours total
kindly i want see send me visa
this place is beyond incredible. Good luck with future videos, maybe stop the music while you are talking? just a thought.
Editing error! Thanks for watching 🙏🏼
It was a nice place but I think the ritual was overrated
The sauna is absolutely sweltering though.

music is too loud . cant hear you
Music is annoying. Great video though 👍
