Great video, I was inspired to do the same but for some reason the midi map does not recognize the M4L slider, I tried a few sliders in max and none worked. I'm in Max 8 Ableton Live 12 Suite. According to the internet "Scope Limitation: Ableton Live's MIDI mapping focuses on capturing messages from external MIDI controllers, not internal elements within M4L devices."

I did get the slider to work in Max as MSP
