Part 1 [Overture] is a jaded acceptance that civilization will end.
Part 2 [Cross-pollination] is a desperate hope that sending the astronauts to find and populate other planets will be successful alongside the recognition that this is the last hope.
Part 3 [Redemption] is when the astronauts realize that it is just one big cycle, and recognize that unless humanity can change it will happen all over again.

Muse is hands down one of the best bands ever put together. The fact that they create orchestrial music like this while still sounding amazing even though it is not rock like their normal music is simply beautiful.

Incredible. My one critique is I would love on-screen lyrics. I feel like they often get lost, as Matt uses his voices as a blended instrument in this piece more often than not. The lyrics add just so much. Thanks for this work.

I can relate to the concepts you give about mankind in relation to space. The music is just perfect, this masterpiece was in fact the one which led me to this video. And _this_ is why I love the sci fi space genre of all the genres in film. _This_ is why I live Muse's Revelation album the most, contrary to almost every Muse fan who says they dislike it. _This_ why I wanted to be an an astronaut when I was younger and _you_ , the person who created and uploaded this fine piece of work, you are the reason why my passion for the New Frontier (space) has reignited. P.s have you ever considered, idk, submitting this masterpiece for a film editing festival (if there ever is such a thing)? It would be wonderful if you could at least submit it into _some_ sort of festival. Having it sit on UA-cam makes me feel guilty because I know it should be somewhere else earning appraisal from an audience :) Well done to you 👍

Absolutely amazing editing work. This is what all fan-made music videos should look like imo. Great choice of clips also.* This has actually inspired me to make a compilation music video like this for The Globalist and (unless you're already working on one yourself) I was wondering if you had any recommendations for movies with good nuclear explosion/post-apocalyptic shots, including but not limited to the ones you've used in this video. I'm particularly interested where the ones at 2:08 and 2:18 are from. Any other suggestions? I'm asking since clearly you've seen a lot of movies and might remember particularly striking/relevant shots that might be harder to find for someone who hasn't seen certain movies (like me). I'm also looking for a few specific kinds of shots that I might ask you about further if you're interested in helping. Let me know!
*I left a comment on the updated version of this video with a petty complaint about the Armageddon clip at the beginning of part 2, but I realized immediately after posting that it's not even bad at all. It works just fine. I just had kind of a knee-jerk reaction to Michael Bay's cheesiness, but the truth is that Muse is basically the musical equivalent of Michael Bay in terms of bombast and over-the-top spectacle, so it fits. The explosions and meteors you've used from that movie work particularly well. So I'm just apologizing for that unnecessary bit of criticism on your masterpiece. (And I'm not just kissing your ass, by the way. This is definitely the best fan-made Muse music video I've ever seen, and I respect you and your work a lot.)
