Dirk Hartog Island Pt 2 - Dampiers Landing | Turtle Bay | Cape Inscription | Bad Weather

In this episode we continue our journey on Dirk Hartog Island. We made it after a 5 hour delay but got to the island and headed to the very Northern Tip for our first camp, Dampier Landing. A wet morning made for a miserable swag pack up but that is life when you live out of swags. Next stop is Cape Inscription to check out the original landing site of Dirk Hartog and explore around the lighthouse. After the weather clears up we check out a few other sights around the Northern Tip before setting up camp at Withnell Point. A windy day leads us to Turle Bay for some good fishing and interesting accces down onto the beach.

Staying at Turtle Bay and seeing the signs for nesting turtles - did you see any ? Wrong time of year ? Great fishing by talented anglers, but so windy !!

Unfortunately no turtles this time :( weather was pretty ordinary to check too... fishing makes up for it, ha ha
