    Very great video! Really showing us what a commercial diving school and the potential work environment is like.

    You truly have to make more videos like this one. Absolutely amazing. Because I’m from Germany and my dream is to be a commercial diver to. Videos like this open a world for me I couldn’t be in at this time and give me some little glimpse of what I’ve to learn if I’m going to a diving school. If you make more like this I would like to thank you so much. Maybe it’s the best job of the world.

    Great Video! Can I ask how do commercial deal with decompression and stops? Is the divers gas mix adjusted throughout the dive for different depths? Do they do stops on the way back up in the basket?

    • @rannarlaur
      @rannarlaur  4 роки тому +3

      What we were doing, was mainly air diving down to 50m. That means deco stops on the way back in the basket. We did also a bit nitrox diving, and surface deco with oxygen (in the chamber).

    Well when I graduated in 1990 it was either under water welder or Iron worker. I figured that since I had been a fisherman my whole life I didnt want to be fish food so I decided to hangout of a building 650+ feet above the ground instead of 650 feet below. Looks like a fun job but I'm to old to change now so I'll just watch your videos and act tuff.......Great video....👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲🇺🇲

    Do these types of divers have to equalise the pressure? I've never used full face masks or helmets, only recreational diving where you pinch your nose to equalise. Always wondered about this??

    • @rannarlaur
      @rannarlaur  4 роки тому +1

      Yes, of course. Pressure is still pressure ;)
      Some of the masks and helmets have equaliseing knobs which go through the front under the glass, so you can push it against your nose and equalise that way. Some of them have just some pads inside and you have to press your nose against it. But it also differs from person to person. Some divers are just doing the same things you would normally do on the plane =)
